Charice was back in South Korea for her first live concert, the last leg of her “Infinity Asian Tour”. It also marked her 4th appearance on Starking, the popular Korean television show where her road to stardom began all the way back in 2007.
With its latest episode taped in March, Charice once again mesmerized and wowed the Korean judges with her powerful voice as shown on the teaser below courtesy of SBS which will air on Saturday, April 7th at 6.30 pm KST.

Charice will be all over Asia this coming March with 5 concerts in 3 key countries: Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. And now, South Korea will also be a stop on her Asia Infinity Tour.
Two event ticketing websites have put up pages for Charice’s concert, Playdb.co.kr and Interpark.com. These websites might be in the Korean language, but we could easily understand the essential details about Charice’s first ever solo concert in Korea:

A concert in Seoul is really a great thing, not just for Charice’s Infinity album and career, but also for the fans who first saw her transform into an international star through South Korea’s tv show, Star King. Who would ever forget that moment, right?
What might have seemed like hopeful is now becoming possible as Asia is opening up to Philippine artists thanks to the impact that Charice has had on the music scene in the area.
Charice has made significant inroads in Asia, particular in the traditionally difficult markets of Japan and South Korea. She released her album “Charice” in Japan in July, saw it peak at No 6 in the Oricon Charts and gain a gold certificate. Charice who was in South Korea last week, tweeted about recording “Endless Love” with K.Will for a new music show program called “The MUZIT.” Kim Hyung-Soo, better known by his stage name K.Will is a popular South Korean ballad singer who was recently cast as the main emcee for the music show. Charice also performed two other songs including “Listen” as well as her hit single “Pyramid.” Read the full story
After the town-fiesta singing contest in Batangas and Laguna, the next stop was television. Charice began as a contestant on Filipino local channel, Channel 9’s Bulilit Kampeon [Little Champion], a little-known singing contest hosted by Pilita Corrales. Charice won as third runner-up and eventually became one of the program’s co-hosts. After the show folded up, she joined two other TV competitions: Birit Bulilit [Little Belter] on Channel 13 (where she was first runner-up and the “MTB Popstar” segment of Magandang Tanghali BayanM [Good Afternoon People], where she won second place.
