The David Foster and Friends concert series is already a certified hit with a successful run during it’s Asia Tour last year and a highly-requested return to the Mandalay Bay stage in Las Vegas. The main reason why these concerts are all sold-out is, of course, David Foster’s iconic songs – which have been the soundtrack for a lot of moments in the lives of concert-goers.

Aside from the “David Foster” part, another crowd-drawing aspect of these concerts is the “Friends” part. From legendary performers like Peter Cetera, Donna Summer, Earth, Wind & Fire, Josh Groban, and Chaka Khan, you could say that David Foster has lots of really famous friends. Their star power do help in getting people to the concert, but their most important contribution is how they give life to David Foster’s musical masterpieces.

One excellent example of an artist who adds new dimensions to existing songs is Charice. Her powerful voice and natural talent in performing has captured the admiration of people across different continents. In almost every David Foster and Friends concert she performed in, Charice always receives a standing ovation.

And this second half of 2011, Charice will again amaze and touch the hearts of audiences in three upcoming David Foster and Friends concerts.

The first one is just a month away – The David Foster and Friends Summer Concert in Napa Valley. It’s a part of the celebration of Napa’s Festival del Sole, and it’s also a fundraising event for the David Foster Foundation.

When: July 16, 2011, Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Where: Robert Mondavi Winery, Highway 29, California

The second one is the second return of the Hitman: David Foster and Friends Concert in Las Vegas. The original run of this concert was in 2008, and the second one was last year, 2010.

When: October 1, 2011, Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Where: The Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada

Who: David Foster, Charice,  etc.

Third one is the Thanksgiving Weekend concert of the  Hitman: David Foster and Friends Concert in Las Vegas. Most probably, this will feature the same line-up of the earlier October concert.

When: November 25, 2011, Friday at 7:00 p.m.
