Charice’s mother has revealed that her singing superstar daughter has had the right to make her own career and personal decisions since she turned 18 last May.

David  Foster was misty-eyed during the May 11 episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” where his new ward, Charice Pempengco, launched her US debut album.

The famed record producer-composer was in the audience as Winfrey interviewed the 18-year-old Pinay international popstar. When Foster was asked to speak, he said: “Probably the most extraordinary thing that’s happened to Charice and I is, today, I got a letter from her asking me to be her godfather.” Read the full story
