Chasters rejoice! Warner Music Japan and Acuvue Japan has released the Japan version of Charice’s “One Day” music video! The video’s concept is similar to the original “One Day” video, showcasing young people pursuing their dreams. The dance moves are also similar, the only difference is Charice had colorful outfits in the first video- in this version she is wearing cool, edgy, black clothing which she always wears when she is styled by her Japanese stylists. MANILA, Philippines – The album of international singing sensation Charice in Japan is now certified gold.
Charice, who has joined the cast the hit TV show “Glee”, thanked all her fans and supporters in Japan for supporting and buying her record.
“Chyeaa! My Album “Charice” is now certified GOLD in Japan! Thank you so much for the support!!! Japan, thank you so much

Today is Charice’s first day on the Japanese leg of her Asia tour. Japan is the third stop of a 5-city Asian Tour, starting out first in Korea, then Philippines, with the primary purpose of the tour being for Charice to promote her new CD in a series of radio and TV appearances. A meet and greet is scheduled in Japan with a contest by Tsutaya Records for the lucky winner to enjoy a private meeting with Charice and a song. Read the full story

Kinoshita Yukina teamed up with Charice for her first album release in Japan on July 7th.
Yukina took Charice’s song “Pyramid”, and translated it into Japanese.
Yukina said, “I started having interest in Charice, because it sounds like ‘Chorisu’ (Yukina’s way to say hello), and after I listened to her songs, I was so moved. I wanted to support her somehow, so I translated the song on my own. To do that makes young Japanese people listen to western music more.” Read the full story

Tokyo, Japan – On July 7th, Charice’s album will debut in Japan and in America it debuted earlier. For her first appearance in America, it ranked eighth (on the Billboard 200). JAPAN – Entertainment. Female singer from the Philippines, Charice, eighteen years old, debuted her album and was ranked 8th in America. Her debut album in Japan (to be released 2010, July 7) contains Japanese pop singer Ayaka’s song “Mikazuki.”
On the 24th of May, in Tokyo Charice had her rehearsal for promoting her album and she showed everyone her ability to sing a famous song of Ayaka’s, “Mikazuki,” in English. She demonstrated her superb singing abilities with a wide vocal range and strong voice. And afterwards she said, “I love J-Pop, it’s amazing,” and smiled. Read the full story
