Join us as Charice, the young singer that Oprah has called “the most talented girl in the world,” performs LIVE at the Toronto Eaton Centre Level 2 Albert’s Way entrance at 6pm. After the performance, come inside Indigo Toronto Eaton Centre as Charice signs copies of her self-titled debut CD.

Wristband policy in effect on a first come, first serve basis and will be handed out starting 10:00AM on Friday, June 4th inside Indigo Toronto Eaton Centre. Charice will only be signing copies of her new CD. Proof of purchase required. Autographs are not guaranteed due to time restrictions.

CHARICE GUESTS AT MCDONALD’S SINGING CONTEST

Voice of McDonald’s is a global singing contest exclusive to McDonald’s restaurant crew and managers as part of the company’s commitment in creating a fun and energetic workplace. With more than1.6 million employees in 118 countries working in McDonald’s restaurants, this competition has become the biggest stage to discover, recognize and reward talented singers in the McDonald’s family.

In the Philippines, all McDonald’s crew and employees were encouraged to join the contest and regional eliminations were held to select 10 semifinalists. From hundreds of McDonald’s employees all over the country that joined and after a grueling selection process, 10 up and coming singing superstars have emerged to belt it out and bring pride to their respective stores.

They are Radjie Zaragoza (McDonald’s Balayan), Jerome Jaucian (McDonald’s Naga City Plaza), Raymund Vergara (McDonald’s Cebu Colon South), Lourieby Chenee Capuyan (McDonald’s Davao Damosa), Ana Feona Moreno (McDonald’s SM Bacolod), Resty Ballaran (McDonald’s Mall of Asia Macapagal), Angelo Quinjett Lantaco (McDonald’s Kingswood), Rommel Abayari (McDonald’s West Avenue) and Rosa Carmella Morales (McDonald’s Greenhills).

Hollywood and YouTube superstar Charice Pempengco led the pack of guest performances to electrify the crowd. She was joined by dance diva Regine Tolentino.

Team Charicemania NEEDS YOUR HELP. If you have not yet entered the “Download Note to God” contest, you are missing a GREAT opportunity to win tickets to a Charice concert of your choice, an acoustical guitar autographed by our princess, and other great prizes. It is easy to earn raffle tickets. There are two ways:

“BUZZ UP” is a Huge Success

Team Charicemania pushed Chasters hard to get two articles into prominence on Yahoo. Why Yahoo? Yahoo has a daily viewership of over 500,000 views. Here are the results from the first day as reported to Team Charicemania by Gandalf:

Yahoo Buzz articles/stats for July 3rd:

The article “Hello Music World, This is Charice” was No. 4 among the top Buzz stories and briefly No. 1 in the entertainment section! Imagine that, even ahead of Michael Jackson and a bunch of celebrity stories!

Team Charicemania will be the first to admit that our team did not do a good job of explaining how much of an impact this “Buzz Up” feature can have in exposing our dear princess to the world and to Charicemania. When a reader clicks the “Buzzed Up” button article in any of the places I mentioned above, Yahoo, Facebook, etc. the reader is transported to the article in Charicemania just as if you clicked on the article right here in Charicemania.

Step-by-step “Buzz Up” Instructions: The following steps relate only to Yahoo.

1. You must register in Yahoo for an account. Choose an article to “Buzz Up”. You can only buzz an article IN Yahoo once.

2. After you have buzzed up an article, you can enter comments on that article in Yahoo. To do that, go to buzz.yahoo.com, click the tab “Buzz Updates”, click the tab “Today’s Buzz, under categories select “Entertainment”.

3. You will be viewing a list of buzzed up articles. Find a Charicemania article and hover your mouse pointer over the article title. You can see how many votes an article has collected.

4. If the “Buzz” button reads “Buzzed Up”, you cannot buzz it again. However, you can add as many comments as your fingers will allow. Comments also add to the article’s strength.

5. If the ‘Buzz” reads “Buzz Up”, click on the button to vote. Add as many comments as you want.

6. Using Yahoo search for terms in the article will also add to the strength of the “Buzz”.

7. Remember it’s OK to buzz up more than one Charicemania article.

8. “Buzz Up” periods are in daily increments. At the end of the allotted time, the winning article will be buzzed to the top of the category.

9. Overall winner’s “Buzz Buttons” are placed on Yahoo’s main page.

Trust me, it isn’t as hard as it sounds.

PLEASE NOTICE the remaining buttons: Technorati, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and email. This is very important also. Even though the other “Buzz Up” button will not count in Yahoo, you will be spreading the article to the respective media. Team Charicemania will help you at any time if you have any problems.

Now is the time for us to be true Chasters. With Charice’s album and world tour coming up soon, we need to get her exposed into mainstream America. It won’t be easy, and Warner Bros, David Foster, Oprah, and Marc Johnston can’t do it by themselves. Performances like “NTG” and “Listen” by Charice can and will if we expose her to the rest of the world.

So get going. Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz until it hurts and buzz some more, comment some more, and watch the future. It’s gonna get exciting.

Our Fans did themselves proud. Gandalf and Max announce the 40 winners of the “What Have You Done for Charice Today” contest. Chasters and new fans were invited to submit their best/original ideas that will promote and further the career of Charice. There’s a lot of Chasters who want legal copies of NTG but do not have credit cards/pay pal account presumably because they are still minors or students on a tight allowance, out of work or have busted/maxed out their credit cards, or living in countries outside the coverage of Amazon or iTunes and therefore unable to buy Charice’s Note to God. Now, in the spirit of Max’s “What Have You Done for Charice Today?”, Gandalf has decided to buy 21 copies of NTG which will forwarded by email to the first 20 lucky Chasters who can submit good/original ideas to answer Max’s call to action.

Max has contributed another 20 legal copies. So, put your thinking caps on and post some promotional ideas. Gandalf and Max will be the judges and the winners of the most original and widest reaching ideas will receive the free download of Charice’s “Note to God” MP3 file via Email. The winners will be notified on Charicemania. Charicemania’s staff has the email addresses and they will not have to be published.

So if you are one of those living outside the US, how would you buy Note to God? Here’s one way:
