Charice has admitted she “would love to” play some part in a Celine Dion concert in the Philippines, if a concert is arranged.
The Filipino international star flew in to Manila on Sunday, January 30, for another 2-day stay to film a TV special, and welcomed the idea of being involved in a proposed Celine Dion concert later this year.
Any concert by the French-Canadian diva in the Philippines is some way off, with Celine set to begin a 3-year residency in Las Vegas in March and expected to promote her new French language album in Europe in April. Read the full story

“Charice News Network” Report from the Citadel, Part 1
Hey Chasters! It seems like each time I sit down to write a report after a show, I ask myself what was the main thing that struck me during this particular Charice performance. Although each performance is unique in its own way, one thing remains constant. Listening to Charice sing in-person is like listening to a live studio recording, because she is always flawless in pitch, tone, timing and delivery. In this day and age of autotune, other artists also sound really good live because they are either aided by auto-tune on stage, or just lip-synch on stage to a recorded track. You can usually tell the difference between an artist’s studio recording and a live performance, because there will be intonations, pitches that differ slightly between the two. Read the full story

Manila – In a recent TV interview with Charlene Gonzales in the Buzz, Charice talked about her achievements and how she is dealing with her newfound fame.
Charice took a weeklong vacation after the last leg of the David Foster and Friends Asian Tour, which she was a part.
Asked on why her vacation was so short, Charice said, “Actually, I’ve already been here for a week. I think it’s quite long because usually I get only two or three-day breaks in the past.” Read the full story

Our hearts go out to the Indonesian families who suffered in the recent natural disasters. The sold-out concert could not have been more poignant or uplifting. David Foster and Friends brought with them a power-packed, feel-good message in the language of music. And our darling Charice elicited two standing ovations for her performances, one of which was the Celine classic, “Power of Love.”
With a tone of concern, David Foster told one reporter, “You think we in America do not know about all this disaster? In fact, we know it.” In fact, David is reported to have created a special song for the Jakarta concert dedicated to the disaster victims. Read the full story

Charice, relatively unknown in Indonesia, made an indelible mark among the members of the local music industry after receiving half of all the standing ovations given tonight in the sold-out Jakarta leg of the David Foster and Friends Asian Tour.

(JAKARTA) Charice with the rest of the artists in the David Foster and Friends tour will be setting a new record in entertainment history. They will be performing in front of a sold-out crowd in what was dubbed as the priciest concert tickets of all all time in Indonesia– and all 2900 seats were taken way back in September.

(BANGKOK) Charice sure does ring a lot of bells nowadays, as she performed along with other artists in yet another sold-out concert for the Thai installment of the David Foster and Friends Concert Tour. Prior to the Thailand gig, Charice also performed in sold-out concerts in Tokyo and in Manila, as part of the same concert tour.
Twelve Thousand Thais instantly went nuts when Charice made a grand entrance at Bangkok’s Impact Arena. She came all the way from the back, through the audience and up onto the stage – all while singing Celine Dion’s “Power of Love” like it was just a piece of cake. Read the full story

(MANILA) Singing superstar Charice rocked Manila, after performing as the top bill in the sold-out Philippine installment of the David Foster and Friends Concert. She received multiple standing ovations from the typically hard-to-please Filipino audience.
The 10,000-seater Araneta Coliseum turned neon blue when the capacity crowd lit thousands of glow sticks as soon as Charice went up on stage for her turn to shine. Charice sported a picturesque look with curly hair, a classy pink dress, and her signature Sennheiser Swarovski crystal-studded bling-bling mic. Read the full story
