Charice performed as part of the David Foster and Friends Asian Tour, which is now in Singapore – its fifth and final leg. This sold-out installment coincides with the Singapore Sun Festival, a month-long national event.

Singer Charice Pempengco joins the Loose Women to chat about her success as a singer.

Charice is on the road to superstardom with numerous guest appearances on Oprah Winfrey, an American Billboard Top 10 album, over 25 million views of her YouTube videos and an upcoming role in Glee, so what better show to launch her in the UK than joining Loose Women!

Charice graces cover of ‘Reader’s Digest Asia’

Manila, Philippines – International singing sensation Charice has graced the cover of Reader’s Digest Asia’s August 2010 issue.

In the cover story “The Making of a YouTube Sensation,” Charice talked about her life and how her dreams came true with the help of the video sharing site YouTube.

Charice, who started to join singing contest as early as six years old, was invited by American TV host Ellen Degeneres when she saw Charice’s performance in Star King, a talent show in Korea. Today is Charice’s first day on the Japanese leg of her Asia tour. Japan is the third stop of a 5-city Asian Tour, starting out first in Korea, then Philippines, with the primary purpose of the tour being for Charice to promote her new CD in a series of radio and TV appearances.
