So my question remains unanswered. In 2009, K-POP collectively brought in $93M to the Korean economy in album sales from Asia and the US. Why did I mention this at Charicemania? Because K-POP I believe are the next big thing. They are aggressive, they have the money and they have enlisted the services of the most powerful talent agency in the US. Individually, Charice is still ahead of the game but she needs a strong presence to stay on top as the Asian trailblazer of her generation that potentially could break the US market.
