Update: Waiting for the videos, Tokyo, Kobe, Nagoya!
During the David Foster and Friends Asia Tour in Tokyo last October, pre-selling of tickets for Charice’s 2012 solo Tokyo concert started. And a lot of people lined up to get their hands on the limited early tickets being sold at the concert venue.
Charicemania speculated earlier whether this Tokyo concert was actually part of a multi-country tour in 2012 – and that appears true now, as 2 more cities in Japan has been added to Charice’s schedule, plus, Singapore and Hong Kong have also been recently confirmed as stops for her Infinity Tour in Asia.
After just a few days from her Singapore concert on March 5, 2012, Charice will fly to Tokyo for her performance on March 14, 2012. Next is Kobe on March 16 , and then Nagoya on March 17, 2012.

I’d rather say that Charice look during this Infinity concert are so coordinated and flattering to her figure. At least the colors and proportions are pleasing to the eye and there’s nothing for me to complain about, so I can retire as a critic(hohum)…
Let’s talk more about the rest of her Infinity Tour Concerts(already started the other day); let’s wish her luck and to have a good time. The audience will be more reserved so it will be more of a challenge for Charice to turn on the volume to get a response and connection while she’s performing on stage. keep in mind the population are very polite/well-mannered and known to wait until the very end of the song to respond in applause, unlike Philippines. Most likely none of them will be singing along or dancing and standing in ovation in the middle of the song, although I know they adore our Princess over there. I’ve seen videos where some members of the audience were crying quietly in reaction to a song; so sweet and sensitive. And remember when they braved the rain in raincoats and umbrellas during Charice promo mini concert? That image alone, in my memory, is worth a million dollars. Let’s pray for good weather and good health; let’s pray for good times and success!

I like this video, not just because of long hair, but because of the dimmed stage light, and the spotlight on Charice singing while sitting down. It reminds me of the way Liza used to do some of her numbers(check “Liza With A Z”). Long hair is also fine, but that could be easily accomplished by wearing a wig like the way Cher used to do, because Cher always hid her gorgeous looking hair under a wig. That is how some professionals in vaudeville do it, and Charice can do the same, and that solves that problem with hair. I really think Charice is enriching her fans by giving them different looks, long black hair sometime, and short blond hair another time. Fiesta for thehair Fetishists(just kidding), lol. Wow!

just beacause u have a tatto does not mean you’re going to turn into a bad person. i know a lot of people who has tattos and they are the nicest people i’ve ever known, my brother has a tatto his a teacher does that mean his a bad person heck no, a tatto has meaning. So pleae don’t judge her because of a freakin Tatto. Charice is the good kid if you are a fan u should know that and she has her mom to keep her grounded. Change is not bad. Juat enjoy her performance of this very talented kid.

The Club version of Pyramid became number one in Billboard . How come there is no follow up Up Beat Club Song being made for Charice?? Where she is good at?? and Ballads where she is famous for!
It is unbelievable and desperate to see her a punk rock(?)! New image !
What’s wrong with this management! Experimenting? Charice has original image that is patented in every man who hear her sing super high notes ballads and that is her image ! So original that no any artists could sing any songs like Charice! And she is amazing on those songs!
What I am noticing is . The management is lacking promotions in the USA where she started. She never had a chance to be a guest in American idol or guest singer in Grammy .
Where it is the greatest exposure all over the world.
She was guest in Glee but her appearance was cut off instead of more appearances in the season.
I don’t know if it is mismanagement? Or is it because she is poor Asian . Or because of ego or because of lack of trust that they think Charice is lacking self confidence in any answers and questionings in english language or brcause Asians in America are
Always on the bottom and in the shadow. There is always racism in America and most filifinos knows it base on their personal experiences and it could be race is an issue .
Those in the Philipines will not understand it unless they experience to live in foreign countries..
What do you think folks??

@clubgoer…i agree with you. racism is very much alive in foreign countries. People back home will never understand that. Their expectations are extremely high…talking about grammys and stuff like that. If charice will make it big in hollywood I’d be happy for her. Right now she is doing a great job as an artist. I think its about making money on the management if we can be more realistic. As long as both parties are benefitted, thats fine. Charice is very lucky she doesn’t have to work so hard when she gets old…sa new look nya, medyo nagulat rin ako pero i’m ready to get used to that change. And be ready for bigger surprises, if she is going to tell us that she is lesbian, well peeps, who are we to judge? Nanay nya nga tanggap sya tayo pa kaya. With the way she talks or act now, they call it mayabang sa pilipinas, confidence po ang tawag namin dito.In non.and yeah, she needs that here. I didn’t even hear her brag,in fact i admire her for staying humble as she is.She doesn’t need to bring that filipino attitude na sobrang perfect dito. Ignorance po kasi yung tawag dito non…hehehe. I just hope that she will come perform here in Canada too because it’s not fair na palagi na lang sya sa asia. When is it going to end? Please let her know that we are dying to see her here…pls, pls, pls!

We both agree that when she does these one-night gigs while traveling from one country to another backup dancers are a luxury.
The One Day video was excellent, largely because Charice was part of and leading the dance group.

And now, 21 years later, the number one pop star in Japan is not Japanese, but Filipino, our very own Charice.

You can buy her CDs in Odyssey, AstroVision, and even in SM record bars. Hope this helps even if this reply is more than a month late. (:

Speaking of flying Charice’s former participant on LBS, Sam Conception, is playing Peter Pan in a Philippine broadway play. Sam is a bit too masculine for that role although he does a wonderful acting and singing job. It is my wish that someday Charice take over the Peter Pan role should she ever get into theater.
Some of the actresses playing Peter Pan include Mary Martin, Sandy Duncan, and Cathy Rigby.
