9/11 VIDEO UPDATES AND REVIEWS…
It’s been a decade since the World Trade Center terrorist attacks happened, and even though the feelings of loss and fear still lingers over Ground Zero, it doesn’t mean we’ll just try to forget it. No matter how you look at it, 9/11 is a historic event that should be remembered for the way that it changed lives.
And this year, the NFL opening season games will include multiple tributes to honor the anniversary of the fall of the Twin Towers. Charice will headline events in Florida during the NFL match between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans. She is slated to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” at opening and “God Bless America” during the halftime show.
Watch below, with great reviews of her performance…
.
Charice performed in front of a packed group to usher in the start of the NFL season on the 10-year anniversary of 9-11. This performance clearly meant a lot to the singer, who even tweeted about her feelings prior to singing for the NFL opener. She said: “Big Day. I need prayers.” Those prayers must have helped because Charice’s voice was flawless as she took on the ‘Star Spangled Banner’, with service members standing by as two jets flew overhead. It was a beautiful way to pay tribute to those who lost their lives ten years ago, as well as to honor the US military… incredible performance. >> Story Here
Just try to keep from crying during Charice’s TWO 9/11 performances. We Dare You! Let’s just say, she pretty much brought the house down. Although the day itself was enough to draw tears from just about everyone in the country, her beautiful renditions of “God Bless America” and “The Star-Spangled Banner” were so smooth and charicematic, we were rendered speechless. >> Story Here
In a reportedly stunning separate performance of the national anthem Sunday, singer Charice afterward tweeted, “Shaking… Crying… One more performance,” ahead of singing “God Bless America,” [..afterward...] “I’m done! Tears of joy,” Charice wrote on Twitter once the NFL game was underway. >> Story Here

Charice is not a stranger to these two songs. She has already performed the United States’ national anthem in a Dodgers’ opening game to much critical acclaim; and for “God Bless America”, she performed this during the Martin Luther King Awards in Washington D.C., one of the pre-inaugural events for President Obama in January, 2009. You can watch these two performances below:
“Star Spangled Banner”
“God Bless America”
If you want to watch Charice sing live on September 11, 2011, you can buy tickets to the game here. For those who prefer watching in the comfort of their homes, be sure to tune in to CBS at about 12 noon or 1 in the afternoon, EST. Charice will sing “Star Spangled Banner” during the tribute before the start of the game, while she’ll sing “God Bless America” during the half-time break.

Charice is a picture of true professionalism and perfection. With her beautiful voice, she calmly performed SSB + GBA infront of 67,000 noisy fired-up crowd celebrating air and ground coverage of the ten year 9-11 tributes with some crews and media a few feet around her. All I can say is, ICE runs through her veins.

Does anybody have any information of the DF&F Asian concert tour which was supposed to perform in Manila on Oct. 25? The date doesn’t sound legit because Black Eyed Peas have a concert at Araneta on the same night. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
