CONCERT VIDEOS ADDED!
Chasters in the Middle East are really eager to have Charice over for a live performance. They have gotten their hopes up last month when “concert organizers” in Dubai put out a press release for an October 7 concert there.
But Charice herself denied on Twitter that she’ll be flying to Dubai in between her David Foster and Friends concerts. Because of this, Chasters became wary of “concerts” announced by organizers from the Middle East.
Just yesterday, there was a lot of buzz regarding the concert Charice will be doing in Doha, but of course, her fans didn’t believe this right away because of the previous Dubai debacle. Confirmation coming from Charice herself or her camp would be the only thing that could assure fans of this concert’s legitimacy.
Fans’ prayers were answered when a list of upcoming Charice events were put up on the artist’s official page on Facebook just an hour ago – included in that list is the September 29 concert in Doha, Qatar. The Doha Concert has also been added to Charice’s official website in the “Tour Dates” page. This date is very believable since it’s almost a month before the start of her almost non-stop performances for the David Foster and Friends Asia Tour.
This is the first ever concert that Charice has done in Qatar. The two-hour performance will be held at the Khalifa Stadium Track in Doha’s Aspire Zone.
The show will start at 8:00 p.m. but the gates will open at 5:00 p.m. There will also be some short opening acts before Charice hits the stage.
Tickets are priced at 350 QR for spots near the stage and at 150 QR for regular ones. You can buy tickets at Regency Travel and Tours outlets. For more information, you can contact info@goldenrelations.com or call 44279060.
The concert organizer is Golden Relations, which has experience in bringing over international acts like the WWE Wrestlemania Revenge Tour. Hopefully, they’ll do a great job in hosting a superstar like Charice.

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest”
(Exodus 14:14, AMP)
Todays Word: by ~~Joel Osteen~~ In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.
Sometimes, no… matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said, in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me, if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, the good news is that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it. So choose peace today and walk in the blessing He has for you!

As for her voice, I’m sure it was amazing that the videos just don’t give justice to, but seriously what she was wearing was not flattering at all. I thought she tweeted about her new stylist and I thought “finally the girl’s getting some help!” She’s either not taking his advice or he oughtta be fired lol.
Lady Gaga produces her own shows too. Along with Beyonce, their stage costumes/wardrobe are a big part of the show that adds to their overall popularity. I’ll just buy Charice’s CDs if the stage show doesn’t offer much originality or personality. She can’t be beat vocally at least. I love her voice and will always be a fan

Fans of teenage singing sensation, Charice Pempengco were treated to a vocal masterclass on Thursday as the Filipina pop star took to the stage at Katara to perform in front of a crowd of around 5,000 people.
The Filipino singer performed a wide variety of different songs, impressing the crowd with renditions of original material, but also reminding her fans of what first got her noticed by performing cover songs as well.
From Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ to Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston medleys, the young star performed songs from across genres and generations, providing a clear display of her vocal ability throughout. Charice, a YouTube sensation spotted and championed by Oprah Winfrey, has already achieved massive fame despite her young years, and she has collaborated with numerous stars who have highlighted her remarkable talent. She also featured on the musical hit TV show, Glee, which catapulted her to further fame and helped to increase her already significant fanbase.Thursday’s event was organised by Golden Relations and CEO Bilal Taha was delighted with the success of the concert.
“It was amazing to have an international superstar in Qatar as the first female major artiste in the Katara Hall,” he said, adding “once again it shows that the entertainment scene in Qatar needs such events as the demand is very high here.”
“We were proud to have Charice here and even more to have such a mixed crowd of different nationalities and ages at the event,” he added. Filipina fan, Lucy said that she was delighted to see Charice in concert in Qatar.“She has the most amazing voice. I have never heard anyone sing as well as she can,” she said, adding “as Filipinos we are so proud of her and it was amazing to get the chance to see her perform live here in Qatar.”
“I really hope that we can see her again in Qatar in the future,” she said.British fan, Robert shared similar sentiments about the concert, declaring himself very impressed with the young singer’s voice.
“The concert was exciting, it was good to see new talent coming to Doha and she has an amazing talent,” he told Gulf Times.
Charice already had a huge following in Qatar, but her appearance here is sure to have won her even more fans, who will be hoping to get the chance to see her again in the future.

1) Your comment is vague, sir. (You’re is the the contraction of you and are. Your is a possessive pronoun and is always followed by a noun.
2) “Vauge” is probably a word from your own dictionary. If you mean confusing, vague is the correct word.
3) The use of “sir” is so antiquated. However, if it is used to show deference in a sentence addressed to a male person, a comma is used to separate “Sir” from the rest of the sentence.
4) I don’t think you understand the differences among grammar, syntax and substance. Syntax is one among the sub-categories in grammar, which is the structure/order of words and phrases that provides both meaningful content and logical context in a sentence. Grammar is broader, as it comprises- aside from syntax- morphology, phonology and semantics.
Substance essentially refers to the uses of nouns and unnecessary adjectives and adverbs in a sentence. A perfect example of a substance or a stand alone noun is your recommendation, “Please review grammar,” without the words syntax and substance. Grammar covers all prescriptive grammar rules that we have learned in grammar school but not including the descriptive rules- the more popular choice in teaching grammar in the last decade. “The snow is white,” is another example. We all know that snow cannot be any other color but white. Nevertheless, it is correct to use white to describe the snow’s whiteness over a span of days. “The falling snow is pristine white. Once the storm is over and traffic resumes as usual, the snow will look like mud.”
5) Much appreciated is acceptable in informal writing. However, your critique of Russel’s post and advice to review grammar compels you to adhere to your request. You need to demonstrate that you are competent in English communication because of your allusion of having this competency. Concluding a post with “Much appreciated” is odd and wrong grammatically. It is better to write, “I would greatly appreciate if you review the grammar of your comment before posting (it).” The pronoun “it” is not necessary but using the pronoun”it” provides emphasis. You used much as an adverb to the verb appreciated. You can write, “Your attention to my advice will be much appreciated.” Although, this is grammatically correct, I am not so big with the usage of much as an adverb.

I agrie, let’s moving on. Chito, you owe everybody an apology for hijacking this thread and turning the topic from Charice into a English composition class, lol. Anyway, that was a terrific performance once again by Charice. And as always, no matter how good her performance is, there are some who still think otherwise. Just can’t please everybody.
