Charice in Singapore for Private Concert – Fan Photos & Videos Posted!

In an interview with HollywoodLife.com last June 14, Charice talked about the reasons why the “Louder” music video is not yet being made. Aside from prioritizing the “One Day” music video, she also mentioned something about going to Singapore. Charice didn’t elaborate about her Singapore trip, and there are no recent tweets about it on her Twitter account. But further searching on the web will lead you to various tidbits of info on this mysterious event – it turns out that Charice will be doing a show in Singapore.

Charice and band Charice in Singapore for Private Concert Fan Photos & Videos Posted! The reason why there’s not much publicity for this show is that it’s a private event. Charice will perform on June 24, 2011 somewhere in Clark Quay – Singapore’s main entertainment district. She’ll be accompanied by her own band consisting of Chris Wrate, LaRoi Larkin, Troy Laureta and Lance Tolbert.

Despite Charice’s silence on Twitter about this event, her band has been continuously giving updates – and Chasters are most thankful for being kept updated about Charice’s preparation. The photo on the left was actually taken during one rehearsal, as Chris Wrate tweeted, “Off to rehearsal w/ the Charice band. Dope arrangements, tight groove, epic rock. Singapore’s gonna be slammin!”

Charice and her band took off for Singapore on June 22, and when they arrived at Singapore’s Changi Airport, they were greeted by Chasters who patiently waited for their idol to arrive. Capofret captured on video their little adventure. See here the playlist for her 3 videos:

Singaporean Chaster, ChariceSing, was one of the dedicated Chasters who welcomed Charice at the airport. She tweeted many photos of her dream-came- true moment of personally meeting Charice. Here are some of her photos where Charice signed autographs, and posed with her fans:

It was really sweet of Charice to entertain her fans despite being tired from a 14 hour flight from Los Angeles to Singapore. It’s really nice to see how friendly Charice is despite her huge fame. Jetlag still didn’t stop Charice from tackling a press conference attended by Singapore’s media. Here are some photos courtesy of Radio 91.3 FM:

We’re definitely looking forward to the interviews from that press conference. Singapore Chasters should start listening to the localPower98 w Super Mario 300x225 Charice in Singapore for Private Concert Fan Photos & Videos Posted!FM stations for shows featuring Charice. In the photo at the right, Charice is being interviewed by DJ Super Mario of Power 98 FM. You should also tune in to E! News Asia for Charice sightings as she was also interviewed by Marion Caunter. @enewsasia even tweeted that they’re accepting questions for Charice: “So what are you waiting for? Tweet us your questions for @OfficialCharice and you might just get them answered!”

Enews Asia 225x300 Charice in Singapore for Private Concert Fan Photos & Videos Posted!Marion Caunter posted a photo of herself with Charice. Marion also tweeted that she had lots of fun chatting with her: With Charice. The cutest thing. Crazy talkin to her bout hanging out w Oprah, Celine, Andrea Bocelli etc. ♥”

Charice definitely made a splash in Singapore this week; surely even more press coverage will be done after she amazes the audience at the private concert. Hopefully some of the lucky ones who got to watch will post videos on YouTube, let’s all wish really hard that someone does do that.

let us be open guyz and stop fighting… have a healthy arguments..some people are just too open to make some suggestions..and thats perfectly fine!..they are just ordinary people like us and they won’t matter to charice’s career. unless they own a recording company…they actually have some good points and may help in someways to charice. at the end of the day its all about her choices!..i think we fans should stop being too fanatic that we get too unrealistic at times!..we would not know maybe charice is taking all these criticisms with an open heart..and here we are fighting arguing about 1 or 2 peoples judgments! which makes us all sound so stupid and childish!.. the truth is no matter how we try to hide it, the world is just So CRUEL!… go to other sites and you’ll be surprised by some haters!….dare read all their comments about our dear charice!..

so next time you read some suggestions and may not be pleasing to your ears… just leave it! or just click dislike! and your day will be just fine! PEACE

If u guys haven’t noticed, the outfits you’re criticizing are worn during rehearsals, or for a 15-hour flight. Of course charice is going to wear what’s comfortable… She dresses sharply during interviews/performances… And even if she does wear something we don’t like, all celebrities have “unfashionable” moments — even britney, christina, selena, etc…

Hypercriticism – is a feature of certain personality types and is colloquially known as nitpicking or nagging. Nitpicking is minute, trivial, unnecessary, and unjustified criticism or faultfinding. Nagging is scolding, complaining, or constantly finding fault.

Constructive criticism, or constructive analysis, is a compassionate attitude towards the person qualified for criticism. Having higher experience, gifts, respect, knowledge in specific field and being able to verbally convince at the same time, this person is intending to uplift the other person materially, morally, emotionally or spiritually. For high probability in succeeding compassionate criticism, the critic has to be in some kind of healthy personal relationship with the other one, which is normally a parent to child, friend to friend, teacher to student, spouse to spouse or any kind of recognized authority in specific field. Hence the word constructive is used so that something is created or visible outcome generated rather than the opposite. Participatory learning in pedagogy is based on these principles of constructive criticism, focusing on positive examples to be emulated over precepts to be followed.

There can be tension between friendly support and useful criticism. A critic might usefully help an individual artist to recognize what is poor or slapdash in their body of work, but the critic may appear harsh and judgmental in the process. Useful criticism is a practical part of constructive criticism.

Hypocriticism is criticism by somebody (a hypocrite) who criticizes another but does the same as the person they are criticizing.

There you go, 99% of these so-called critics are hypercriticising rather than doing constructive criticisms. In other words, they are nothing but naggers, fault-finders and hypocrits.

Thanks, Alten, for these definitions and increasing our awareness as to the various types of criticisms. It behooves us all to know the difference between a constructive and destructive comment. Think twice before you talk: Is it necessary, kind, and true? If you answer NO to any, then perhaps you best keep your opinion to yourself. Charice knows better now, too, and she’s able to provide a sage advice that what people say is a reflection of themselves. At the end of the day, rest assured that Charice loves and is secure of herself no matter the negative comments.

@chris did you ever enjoy your childhood life? If you did, then ask Charice if she has one? I bet you she will say she doesn’t have any. As for me I never had one also that is why I can easily adapt myself to Charice life because I’ve experienced of what she experienced in life, not the fame and wealth side but her struggle in life. Like Charice I also started helping my parents in such a young age. At young age of 10 until the age 22, I never experienced to have a new shoes, new clothes and a decent food to eat because simple we cannot afford it.

With the help the power of prayer I am fortunate and got a chance to moved in California and found a decent federal job in the US Navy. Now I can afford to buy new shoes, new clothes and real food to eat. The things that I’m always buying now are those things I want to buy before when I was young, I went back to my childhood time and continue what I’ve been dreaming before. At least materially it came through even though I’m already old.

As for Charice she also doing it. In my own point of view I can see Charice is also going back on her childhood time, she’s 19 now but still young at heart just like me she also wants to continue what she missed before when she was young.

For me as her fan I will just going to follow her and enjoy her future performances for the rest of my life and watch her grow naturally and at her own will.

Spot on Chris. Who are fans to dictate Charice what to wear anyway? Fans are mere consumers. They use their money to buy a product or go to a concert that APPEALS to them. So if Charice doesn’t want to look good and cool for her fans, especially the younger ones, so be it. It’s her life. I know she can sing. I love her when she sings those beautiful ballads. But it makes me sad that my teen nieces just totally ignore her. They love Taylor and Selena, and it’s not solely because these girls are pretty. It’s because of their sense of style, their confidence. They sound smart. They’re girly. Charice? That pic of her with Marion Caunter says everything…it’s like Marion is the star.

Taylor and Selena surely make up for the lack of vocal talent in looking pretty, etc. Sorry if I’m being brutally honest. Music has become so visual. It’s unfortunate when a lot of girls buy into looking like these pop stars or anyone but themselves.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that perhaps what she wears is just the in thing nowadays with teens where she is at the moment and she is just mirroring it to try to get into their groove? Just my two cents.

so those people say that she has to this and that in a nasty way, so please think twice cause i don’t think you are a fan of charice or pretending ” ” to be so you can say the nasty thing for her.

    cheers everyone

Let Cha be who she is and grow to be her own person. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and so is she. But as we all know….negative comments don’t really help any situation. They also don’t reflect on Charice. The negative comments only reveal the personality of the person who is posting it…and I say this with nothing but respect for everybody. As Chasters we should love and support her no matter what. I’ll be one of them til my heart stops beating cus I got nothing but <3 ~!!

@chris you said, “what we want to happen here is for her to build up a more fierce image that would match her talent!” who’s “we” you talking about? Are speaking for someone else here? Give Charice a break she’s still young she has a lot of room for improvements. Where were you when she was struggling? Why didn’t you tell her before of how to become famous? If you are better than her team then show us some proof. If you have nothing then why don’t you just sit back, relax and enjoy what Charice can offer you.

Phil boy, are you a stylist? Please, can we all just leave her alone with our so-called well-intentioned opinions and suggestions? As a 19 year-old, Charice has the right to experiment with clothes and styles and even attitudes. She’s being herself instead of the typical always-dressed-for-the camera young starlets these days. There are women who are girly-girls and there are those who are casual and laid back. We’ve all seen Charice in high glamor, pretty casual, feminine, femme and now your so-called “ghetto” look and I say that’s pretty cool. There’s nothing more annoying than a one-style, one-dimension personality in looks, attitudes and thinking. I think Charice is very intelligent. Intelligent people are generally not extremely outwardly-appearance conscious or approval seekers of others or the media.

That’s why it was called private, her show was to entertain a group exclusively. So i don’t think we will see any videos of the event. It’s the same thing that happened the last time she did a private concert at donald trump’s place in Florida, no videos.

Hopefully though, somebody was able to record, but i doubt it. Just be patient guys charice will have lots of concerts coming and they are not private.
