Charice has recently been campaigning and asking people to vote for “Team Orange” on her Twitter account. Some may scratch their heads, puzzled about what this “Team Orange” business is about. Another one of those love triangles like “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob” perhaps? Not quite. Orange is actually a flavor being considered as a new flavor of Lifesavers Gummies, and Charice wants it to win. So vote now!
Checkout this new video of Charice explaining Lifesavers Gummies Flavor Vote:
Just a couple of days ago, an invitation to a campaign party for Team Orange was put up on Lifesavers Gummies official Facebook page, and its going to be hosted by Charice. The event will be held at Bowlmor Lanes, 222 West 44th Street, New York, New York.
Join Charice on Tuesday, June 14 at Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square from 1pm to 3pm as she celebrates the Life Savers® Gummies® Flavor Vote!
Enjoy music, refreshments, carnival games and more while supporting your favorite flavor!
Charice is campaigning for Orange, but we want to see which flavor you’re supporting!
Have the opportunity to meet Charice and get your hands on exclusive Flavor Vote swag.
Space is limited and this event will fill up; don’t miss out – make sure to RVSP by Friday, June 10 to kzotaley@digcommunications.com.
With the number of Chasters willing to support Charice in her Orange campaign exceeding many times over the available slots for the event, fans resorted to other creative ways to show their love and support for Charice (plus the flavor orange, of course).
Inkheart and Beda026 joined forces to organize a photo collage project of different Chasters wearing the color orange. So all you need to do is wear an orange colored shirt (or maybe a head to toe orange outfit if you’re daring enough!), take a photo of yourself, and then send it to beda026 through Twitter or beda026@gmail.com. The deadline for sending photos is on June 10, so search now for that cute orange outfit and keep on posing ’til you get that perfect photo.
Wear Orange for Charice’s Team Orange
It simply started when I tweeted that I’ll just imagine myself there with Charice at her Lifesavers Gummies Team Orange campaign on June 14 since I won’t be able to go. A fellow Chaster replied that I should wear orange to feel the event more. I thought it was cool and another Chaster thought so too… and another, and another, until several Chasters – mostly those who won’t be able to go – wanted to join in. So why not? I mean, what’s a team if it’s members aren’t wearing the same color, right?
So here’s a simple plan and all Chasters are invited to join, whether or not you’ll be able to attend Charice’s June 14 event: we can all wear orange and have our pictures taken, then we can ask one of our artistic Chasters to edit and put them all together to make a collage or something. We can give it to Charice in time for June 14.

I find this website the most up-to-date news and videos about Charice. Sometimes, I would read the postings. I have never posted and replied. This time, however, I feel the need to defend Thomas Norman’s comment. I did not find it to attack Charice but to render his opinion about the harsh realities of being a famous Hollywood celebrity. Your every movement is monitored, decisions and actions are deciphered and ridiculed, and anything that can stir-up people’s readership is a tabloid article.
Charice should remain tall. The best way to deal with those people, who enjoy to mock her at any possible chance they can, is to simply ignore them. As Thomas suggested, it comes with the territory.

Would you let a mere guest you invited and entrusted with your page trash the page you work so hard to maintain at its best and most positive? I don’t think so. If you would, then you might as well create your own effigy and be in celebratory mood, which would be bizarre.
For once, let a fan page be a fan page and let’s respect Charice and other celebrities whose privacy and security are constantly at risk. They’re no less human than us. As Lea Salonga tweeted, they are very human, even be more human than you or I. Artists as they are, they teach us humanity as they express themselves and pour their hearts and souls out through the arts, without guarantees.
Can you be as brave and let yourself as vulnerable? I don’t think so; otherwise, you would not be sitting behind the protection of your computer.
A challenge for you and all who frequent Charicemania or any site dedicated to Charice: Decide whether you’re a true Chaster who aims to support unconditionally or a self-entitled voyeur who aims to consume and devour the life of a young woman, daughter, and sister, who’s making her fans breathe easier. I couldn’t ask for more as Cha has accomplished more than any of us will in our lifetime. Only the envious could fault her for that.

I also had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with David Foster who I thanked again for taking care of our Princess. He professed his love and respect for the Filipino people. And Oh, yes! A little scoop here and this is no BS….. David said to me that DF&F will be back to Mandalay Bay in October and Manila in November! Start to make your plans now, folks!

Saw David Foster briefly, and Marc Johnston. Everyone had a professional picture taken which will be uploaded shortly. Hugs for everyone. Then she played most of the games including skee ball and she won a purple monkey at another game. After game time, Charice went to the dj booth and encouraged people to dance, but all we wanted was to be around her. No real live performance but playful sing a long to some of her songs and other upbeat ones.
Then onto the signing corner where she signed one item for everyone. Most had their orange tshirt, that was given to us, signed. I had my “My Inspiration” cd cover signed. Then it was fairwell but the best meet and greet I have attended. I love this girl soooo much. Btw, nothing to worry about her appearance – she is beautiful and her management team is top notch.
Here is one video, the best one I have. If any other ones are worthy I will upload. But no need to worry. Lantao was there and I’m sure will be uploading his videos.

I have been follwoing CharicMania since I have become a strong admirer of Charice. It seems that your filtering criteria of posts are reckless and biased. I wrote four opinions that were carefully written, sharing my objective observations and opinions about Charice. I understand that you want to maintain this forum to update her fans about what is happening with Charice. There is a section for your website followers to post comments. Of these four comments, two of which were published and the two others were not. You must undertand that writing opinions that can offer advice to Charice if written sensibly and without being reprimanding and insulting- I hope she is checking this site- especially if you are a true a admirer of Charice, should be taken seriously as a way of supporting and helping her. Extreme fanaticism leads to a one sided-perspective of a person you idolize. Charice is not a perfect human being. We must not be too abrasive and defensive when reacting to a negative post neither limit our replies to always embellish Charice’s talent and trash others. Foremost, try to write sensibly, without biases and not always agreeing with Charice. When you think she has made some haste choices stirred by emotions, be honest about how you felt about them and offer ways on what would you do or how would you resolve if if you were in her shoes.
The last post that was deleted was my opinion about Charice’s hasty decision to tweet such strong condemnation of those insulting postings, and the eventual termination of her Facebook account. I cited my reasons of the possible negative and positive sonsequencesces by her reactions, and weighed them as regards how people would react. Calling people “HATERS,” who do not like her was harsh and unbecoming the star that she has become. Being famous makes you a target for criticisms. She should know that and must maintain her cool and keep her character unblemished by staying above those devious individuals. These people enjoy bullying. They would not stop until you react. They are provocateurs, and their ultimate gals is to behave just like them. Your swift and emotional response may have adverse effects on your character. They have nothing to protect. She has experienced far worst obstacles breaking into the Philippine entertainment indusry. As a young child, Charice has gone trough more painful experiences that has made my heart feel her pain, and admire her strenth of character and early maturity. Her reaction changes the trajectory of the restained, humble, sensible and a vision-oriented young girl, who amidst of the ill-rubrics set as to what physical attributes make a star in the Philippines, proved them all wrong. Her deleting Facebook felt as if she has punished all. Using “HATERS” seems to refer to the Filipinos, trying to destroy her. Others may read this as a general trait of many Filipinos. Her humble life narrative has connected me wanting to know more about her. In the process, it paved the way to sincerely appreciate and support her awesome talent and persona. Charicemania should filter out postings that use senseless and profane comments. Noentheless, if you continue to deny me and others to give our unbiased but praiseworthy postings, count me out from this website. To Charice, if you are easily affected by negative posts or stories, the entertainment industry is not the place for you. You will, in the future, ecounter more extremely and a lot more attacks by people, who find saisfaction when they succeed to provoke and make their targets react and explode. Just take them as things that will make you a better peformer and a stronger person. Better yet, things that can make you laugh out loud and learn from them their callousness- their incapacity to show their humanity and empathy. Thank you.

Way too long winded. Stops short of being a rant. Better to contract the message into bullets. More cogent that way.

People think that criticism, hatred and bullying is part of stardom. No,it is isn’t. I simply do not buy or listen to their music or watch their movies. I don’t go online and barrage them with hateful messages. What good will that do. You are just making yourself look foolish and insecure. The trick is to be happy with what you have and the tendency is you will be happy with what other people have. I may not have Charice’s millions but that just it i am happy for her. I am still hoping that she will shine the brightest. Perhaps, it is my pride to see a Filipino shine. It is a plus that she is very talented that i am not ashame to give her my full support.
People tend to think that Charice do not have feelings. She does, she is human too although a famous one.
If you are her fan, be that. She doesn`t need more advisers, stylist, makeup people. She has people being paid to do that for her. Besides, she has a mother that will give her the advise that she needs. She probably rather hear advise from her mother than anyone else.
If you don`t like her or her music that`s fine too. Just leave your opinions to yourself.

Thank you. I strongly agree with you. I’m an avid fan of Charice. My day starts googling for any news about Charice. She’s became my grandchildrens inpiration. Her perseverance and devotion to her music that put her where she is now. And I get offended when she’s compared to other Filipino singers, and then attack her looks without recognizing her talent and accomplishments. I just wish other Charice’s avid fans understand your most invaluable points, and don’t interpret it negatively.

Those critics are being so hard on Charice; keep in mind that she is still new, young and struggling to be inside that world(Hollywood) where not a whole lot of her people have gone, and she has done a remarkable(excellent) job so far; her personality, talent, and above all her manners, helped make that world welcoming to our diminutive Princess. From my knowledge through reading and through friends who worked in television studios(where shows like Glee are canned), all jobs including hairstyle, makeup and costumes are are all handled by unions and union members; the law/rules are very strict about who does what, everyone is responsible for certain work, and no one can just step(take over) on any body else job. I heard a story about an artist who can not powder his own butt even just to cover a zit, because that is the job of a make up artist who works on the set and who is a union member. For Charice to have her own stylist on the set at this point is useless; the artistic control is mostly on the hands of the director, and he decides what the end product should be like based in the storytelling. I’m just surprised by the callousness, ignorance of boundaries, and lack of manners of some critics/haters. Come on, Charice is a teenager, a human being, and has feelings just like anybody else; go easy on her.
