Today is Friday the 13th, but no such bad luck is in store for our sunshine girl, Charice. After appearing just last Saturday in Las Vegas, singing the Philippine National Anthem for the big Pacquiao-Mosley fight, now Charice was spotted earlier today cross-country in Boston, Massachusetts, as she resumes filming for the Kevin James movie ‘Here Comes The Boom.’
First reported here on April 4th, Charice will star in “Here Comes the Boom” along with Salma Hayek, Kevin James, and Henry Winkler. James is a high school teacher and Charice plays a student named Malia De La Cruz in the Music Department, which is in danger of being cut from the budget. A hilarious story ensues as James’ character tries to raise money to save the department by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter.
Charice was spotted filming at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall and it looks like she’s carrying not one, but two mobile cell phones, no doubt to keep in touch with her enthusiastic fans. Paparazzi were on the set taking photos and some local teenagers were surprised to find their idol right in their midst as they caught Charice’s attention, calling “Sunshine! Sunshine!”
Indeed, Charice tweeted on her Blackberry: ” Back on set. 
Here Comes the BOOOOOOM!!! ”
How appropriate for “Sunshine” to be on set on a bright sunshiny day in Boston! Be sure to catch the movie opening next summer, 2012.
