If Chaster’s had their own way, they would definitely make May 10 a worldwide holiday. But with world leaders still being Chasters-in-the-closet, the out and proud Chasters did the next best thing – wished Charice a great birthday and made her a cute and touching video. It’s not only diehard Chasters who remembered what day May 10 was, even the socialite/heiress Paris Hilton brought some cheer to Charice on her very special day. Paris tweeted “Happy Birthday @OfficialCharice Love always Paris Hilton Love this pic of us w/ @MichaelBuble”. Charice did not forget to thank Paris, and she tweeted “@ParisHilton thanks again!!!! Love always! -C”.
This photo of Charice with Paris and Buble was taken during Leeza Gibbon’s Oscar 2009 After-party, “A Night to Make a Difference”, at Mr. Chow’s in Hollywood. Charice was one of the performers for that night, together with David Foster, Thelma Houston, and Michael Buble. It was also in that party that Charice got raves for her performance and presence, and this could be the reason why Charice got etched on Paris’ mind, and still be recognized two years later. Add to this the fact that Paris found Charice cute as a doll – it’s highly possible that Paris is already a Chaster!
Charice and Paris’ Twitter conversation didn’t actually start with a birthday greeting, it started because Paris tweeted about meeting Charice during the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley boxing match. @ParisHilton: “I ♥ @OfficialCharice. Was so nice meeting her. She has such a beautiful voice!”
Charice sang the Philippine National Anthem during the fight, while Paris was in the audience. It turns out that Paris is a big fan of Pacquiao and she was even on-stage at Pacquiao’s post-fight conference. Most likely, she and Charice met again through Pacquiao after the fight or during the victory party, just like how David Foster met Pacquiao at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas before the victory party started. Charice then replied to @ParisHilton,”thanks Paris. 
you’re so sweet! it was so nice meeting you then. Hope to see you again. Take care!”
There is no doubt that Charice’s talent can impress anyone who hears her sing, from producers, songwriters, singers, talk show hosts, music loving citizens of any country, and even a socialite/hotel heiress. At the least, Charice certainly deserves to have a great birthday. A lavish party isn’t even needed when you have birthday greetings from countless fans all over the world, right?

I witnessed your May 11th Los Angeles area filming and am so looking forward to the final broadcast edit. Of your three Season 2 appearances, you will have the most significant contribution in GLEE. Sunshine Corazon’s solo on-stage performance of an original song was totally awesome. What a fabulous way to start your 19th year!

A little reasearch showed that both Paris’ grandmother and great grandmother were Marys, hence the “cover” username. Her grandmother was married to Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton Hotel chain.
I would bet that it was Paris Hilton herself. And if so, I’m glad she was curious enough to chat here, even for a short while. That is the magic of CHARICE!!

Baby Gill in her recent column heard a rumor at Philstar that Oprah is pushing for our dear Charice to star in the Miss Saigon Movie. Let us pushthat rumor (ala “Glee” e.g.)and see how far it will come to reality.
