Charice ends Japan Tour in Osaka

Charice ends Japan Tour in Osaka

Charice finished her Japan tour in Osaka on Friday, not only with the success of her first solo concert tour behind her, but with a nation firmly entranced.

The last of her four concerts followed in the footsteps of the previous three by being a massive hit, but unlike the others, this time she took to the stage at The Zepp, Osaka as an award winner. Just the night before, in Tokyo, she claimed Best New Artist in the J-WAVE Awards – her first major music award.

But, while there is little in the way of online footage going around, we have managed to get hold of live recording of the night with Unique coming on-stage for his hit single with Charice, “Wherever You Are.”

After the successes of her Nagoya and Tokyo concerts earlier in the week, Unique wanted to mark the final date of the tour with something different. Look closely and you’ll notice that he presents a special gift to his host – a single rose – and the crowd loved it!

Some fans reaction to the concert has cropped up on the internet. On the special “Charice in Osaka @ The Zepp” Facebook page, Tanaka Yasuko commented, “It was great in Osaka!! Your voice reached to the heaven! Thanks!”

On Twitter, meanwhile, Yukinmanako tweeted, “@IanUniqueZayas @OfficialCharice Your performance was so amazingw(O)w I was sooo excited!!! Please enjoy tonight in OSAKA JAPAN ;)

To any Chasters who were there, let us know what you thought of the final concert of Charice’s tour by leaving a comment here.

Whenever I watch/listen to songs/videos by Charice I get goosebumps and often moves me to tears. I hate how people from her own country bring her down because of her success. She came from a POOR family and now she’s successful because of her talent and hard work, why can’t anyone just be happy for her? How would you feel if you had a chance to realize your dream and everyone is just spouting off negative comments to bring you down? Seriously people get a life. Her talent is real, Charice is real. Enough said. I seriously feel like I could fly whenever I hear her sing, her voice reaches my soul and that rarely happens with other singers.

To all our Japanese friends. Hope your families are safe in this time of tragedy. We just don’t know when things like this are going to occur. Like Phil Bolsta’s book title: Sixty Seconds – A Moment Changes Everything.

    Be well. Stay strong.

Asians support Charice because she deserves it. She’s our superstar!

Just like Charice I also have a unique Chinese sound name, my parents, grandparents are all Filipinos, born and raise in the Philippines. It’s normal for us Filipinos, because our country(Philippines) is a nation of mixed race(Spanish,Malay ,Chinese, etc) and mixed cuture. Foreign sound names, are everywhere. Let’s not make a big deal about Charice having a Chinese sound surname. Singson, Ocampo, etc these Chinese sound names are found ONLY in the Philippines. We are Filipinos.

If you are a true fan of Charice, you buy real copies of CD, support her not by doing lip service. I wish people will stop complaining about her clothes, the ways she speak, etc.
    Thank you.

This concert was developed and produced by her management. If her concert and dance routines disappointed you, then that is your opinion and feelings. The fact that the majority who saw her concert were raving about her performance proved that the production numbers were stupendous.

She certainly can not please everybody. I read one comment that she should stop dancing and just sing. Opinions are like ass**les…everbody has one. I am just happy that you are not guiding Charice’s career.

Charice is love and supported by fans because of her enormous talent and charming personality and not because of her nationality.

Quit the whining, Kakawati! Charice is doing extremely well for someone who has only been in the public eye for barely 4 years and she is only 18 years old. She’s doing charity performances, concerts with David Foster, radio concerts, collaborating and acting all the while learning how to survive in the toughest entertainment industry in the world and learning new languages and cultures. Besides Justin Bieber, I can’t name anyone else under 18 who is doing what she is doing. I hear she is a very hard worker and a perfectionist. She gets better and better all the time. Tons of kudos to Charice. Before you judge, imagine yourself on the stage accomplishing all that she had to accomplish. My God! 21 songs, nonstop, every night for 5 nights! Well done, girl! Hope you’re getting some R&R.

Man, you guys are really demanding. I hope you mean well.

Is Cha a trained dancer? Does Celine dance much? Whitney? Even Mariah?

You can expect her to get better and more creative with her dance moves because she loves dancing.

Dancing, pacing herself so her voice will last four full concerts in five days, acting, public speaking, blah blah blah. Some Chasters are are expecting way too much of Cha too fast.

Already you can see significant improvement in all aspects of her entertainment life just in the past six months. It’s obvious to anyone paying attention that she is getting more polished in just about every area, but she can only do so much so fast. Have some patience, folks, and just enjoy what she offers in the moment and you can dream of the potential she promises in the future.

Share in, revel in, and enjoy the journey!

starbuck thanks for covering Cha’s back, I’m with you. Unlike the three divas you have mentioned, Charice wants to have dancing as part of her performances, and from what I saw from the Japan concerts she did an outstanding repertoire of what she wants to accomplish. What we have witnessed was just the beginning of her steps to superstardom.

Fully agree. Actually, I have seen the Tokyo vids (multiple times) and I loved her dancing. She seemed so light on her feet and so happy to be there, right in her element, and it showed in her moves. I know personally how hard it is to sing and dance at the same time; unless you’re very physically fit, there’s a risk you’ll end up gasping like a beached fish for lack of oxygen. And Charice pulled it off no problem.

So she’s not perfect. So what? The crowd loves her, the whole of Japan loves her, and we love her, just as she is. It’s all about giving and receiving anyway, not scores on a scorecard. And Charice is the most generous performer I’ve ever seen.

Starbuck, I labyo olredi. your right on…Charice is doing just fine, the singing is a given, dancing is a bonus… charice cannot please everybody.. to this day the 3 diva’s you mentioned still have their crab/critics. As long as charice is not doing a miley cyrus or a lindsay lohan or “HOLLYWOOD” entitlement attitude, she’s still worth spending my hard earned entertainment $$$…lol

thats charice lets accept her as she is. rome is not built in one day. “in god’s time” as charice said things will come their way. thanks for depending this very fragile princess. the world is indeed too tough to live in you cannot please everyone. charice needs our support shes still a baby weaning from her lonely and difficult childhood. let her grow up lets stop pruning her gentle and blooming petals. we might miss the beautiful flowers that are about to bloom.

too much love can make one a poet he he he. charice is like a daughter to me. i find her too fragile and vulnerable and needs a lot of nurturing from a chaster father like you and the rest of chaster parents caring for her. (ooops im assuming you are a father. am i right star?)

Some seems to forget where Charice came from. no formal voice lessons, poor family,no exclusive education, etc. just faith in God and hard work. I rather see her as what she really is and leave her improvement to her own capabilities and time. what matter most is I always appreciate all her performances and believed that this girl had achieved more than any other artists with similar beginnings.

Thanks! Sometimes I just gotta post a counter if the sniping remarks get to be too much. I still think most have Cha’s best interest at heart but sometimes the negative remarks are like throwing a wet blanket on a fire that burning strong and bright.

Here we are basking in the glow of Cha’s performances in Japan and some Chasters just need to learn to save the “constructive” criticism for another day and time.

hahah that is so true, honestly i do have criticisms sometimes as to this and that BUT hey i keep it to myself because at the back of my mind I know its nothing really compared to what i feel every time i get to listen to her sing.

I just get irritated sometimes on these people, and ur right they do sound demanding as if they really intend on helping her.grrrrr on the lighter side though i am glad a lot of chasters are not just intelligent but are also eloquent, they make sense when they write their comments and its so really has a meaning into it.

IM GLAD IM A CHASTER. AND I STILL AM HOPING TO MEET ONE IN PERSON.

The suggestion to go China is a must now. Let Cha solidify Asia . Hongkong would be a good venue to start with.

Our workers alone will guarantee huge attendance not counting her huge following in the area.

We have to remember , her surname is purely rooted in Chinese
PE . PENG and CO. Philippines , much like America is the melting pot of ASia. No surprise here, really.
