The Star to Every Wandering Bark
(February 23, 2011 – Tokyo) A speck of dust like me in the greater cosmic reality could not believe that I will receive a GIFT that is BEYOND my WILDEST EXPECTATIONS (you may probably know already by referring to LAfan’s 2 articles Touchdown in Tokyo and his CNN Report of the Feb 22 concert).
The joyful occasion of receiving happens with the openness to embrace the GIFT.
From the standpoint of my daily CHASTER life, there is one thing I do know, that I am here (CHASTERLANDIA- CM) for the sake of CHARICE and other CHASTERS all over the world. That whatever will be unfolded to me…will also be EXPERIENCED by everyone…through the GRACE of the continuous extent of GIVING and RECEIVING.
So I embarked on a journey to see CHARICE again…this time with a purpose from a higher authority, and that will require me to cross the PACIFIC. This time…I will cross the OCEAN for CHARICE.
I prepared a full SAMURAI battle gear (my heart…my soul…my pen,
) again, to face the harms of season. But when I saw the CHASTERS from all over the world, that port in the heart of TOKYO became the WARMEST in the middle of the samui (cold/winter).
As we sail through our every hour of stay here in the land of the RISING SUN, we experienced the joy and struggles of being lost in time…space..translation
, confusions, and above all…direction
.
Due to the unfamiliarity of the place, everyone of us experienced losing something, either our voice ( from shouting I love you CHARICE during her SOLO Concert), keys (in all aspects of our being because of CHA, lol), and cellphone (justcharrie was so excited to see Charice during the first night of concert, she doesn’t even know that she left her cellphone in other Chasters’ room and finally ringing PYRAMID at 5 in the morning waking up the people who haven’t slept yet…
.
Some lost their tickets, stubs, direction to the dining hall, and of course they themselves (body and mind, which happened to ARZ 2x…lol, to me , Josie 854, and I’m sure to all of us lol). Have you ever been lost even once in your life?
I understand that I did prepare for this sail, but forgot something that would tell me where I am…and my way back. That is why I am lost… and I am without direction.
Most of us lost our ability to sleep as well,
as we are always on the go and always in a hurry …and above all ready to be CHASTERS for CHARICE. Those who attended the concert during the first day were not able to sleep due to jubilation of seeing CHA transformed from being THE MOST TALENTED GIRL in the WORLD, to the global SUPERSTAR that she is right now. LAfan did not sleep at all to write his most heartfelt article (as he told me). I listened to my roommates as their hearts were jumping in joy and excitement to see CHARICE, making my eyes swell like Garfield.
So the next morning (Feb. 23, 2011), everyone was up again to start another sail and face a new morn light in our CHASTER life. I was actually winking at everyone, and when somebody asked me why I was winking, I simply replied “ Oh, that is to suffice my 8 hour sleep”
.
We visited the city and oriented and reoriented ourselves to the magnificent history and vast ocean of experiences of this city. We heard about the shogun and the emperors and empress, and just like CHARICE the transformation of the city from being a prairie to the SUPER MODERN METRO that it is right now.
Since our story of being lost continued the whole day, our spirit became more acquainted to the process that we are undergoing.
We became aware of where we are. On our way back to our hotel, inside the train, a middle aged Caucasian woman asked me, then LAfan, then Chaster Clause about the direction of a place… and the only answer I can give her was, ”Please don’t follow us, we‘re also LOST
. At least we admit that we are lost and hopefully will find our way back…
.
Somewhere in the middle of all of this journey, we are filled with felicity when we find the hidden meaning of symbols and signs, translations, and insights hiding between our eyes.
We embraced that being lost is part of the process of being transformed…and being FOUND.
Then the next scene in our little story was the 2nd day of CONCERT. I remember all of you (CHASTERS all over the world) as I get the chance to see CHARICE and her performance again (LIVE, lol). It is as if you will see her through my eyes…and my ears. I carry you in my HEART as I enter the gate of the venue, and as I jumped, and shout “ I LOVE YOU CHARICE , and give her standing ovation.
We, the second batch of CHASTERS sent to the beautiful mission of seeing CHARICE live, prepared our whole being. Then since a CHASTER could not really get enough of the little one (CHARICE), almost everyone from the whole first batch went back to see the show again for the 2nd time. Are we CRAZY for CHA or what ?lol! Now if you will accuse us of being diehard CHASTERS, will you find enough evidence to convict us?
During the show, we can’t help but shed some tears when CHA came out from the stage. You can refer to LAfan’s CNN report regarding the whole concept and repertoire of the program.
We even felt sad when sideburnersol’s video was confiscated while taking the 5th song. Four songs were deleted from his camera…and I can feel the lost that he felt knowing that he was ready to share them with all of you. He tried…but…as LAfan shared with me that maybe it’s meant to be that way. That this will be kept in his (sideburner’s) hearts alone and can only be shared if you will listen to him how he sees the people from his perspective that night .That we are like a school of fish, that when CHA waves…we wave. In this manner what seems to be lost forever is shared again…through expressing how you feel about seeing CHA and hearing her LIVE again.
Then what I saw with my special eyegear (remember my GMA MAGICAL lense? I brought and wore them in Tokyo), is something that I never believed I will experience. Something celestial and empowering.
When CHA was singing NOTE to GOD, I feel that she is speaking about something that is TRUE…CONSTANT…and ever DEPENDABLE BEING in the midst of struggles and confusions, and mysteries of life.
The next part (hmmmm please don’t be jealous, this is all for you as well) was most awaited one after the concert. DRUMROLL………. The MEET and GREET with CHA. Marc Johnston fetched us for us to see CHARICE. Everyone got to see her and ask her to sign something.
During my turn, I whispered to her and gave her little something which I promised Mom Raqz (Roca) a few years ago. A spiritual symbol which is a promise, that I will pray for them always. Then after a while this little one was giggling and laughing, with us already. Very generous with her time and love. her innocence and her childlike manner. She was singing something that sounds like this , “Sino and nasa puso niyo” (who is in your HEART?), then the CHASTERS sung “It’s Sunhine…Sunshine” and I felt that this is the little girl who touched so many HEARTS so many SOULS…the simple little girl from the Philippines who are now the PRIDE of ASIA and the WHOLE WORLD. The little soul of a child that is so UNBELIEVABLY inspiring. The little one who is actually giving DIRECTION to so many people in so many generations all over the world. Now I can answer those who are asking me for the past few days, “ what and who are you going write about Artemis?,,,and I always replied, I don’t know what and whom I will meet along the way to CHARICE. But now I can simply answer that , it’s a six letter name that encompasses so many WONDERS…and STORIES.
I suddenly heard these lines while CHARICE was joyfully singing and dancing and jumping, and having fun with us during the MEET and GREET.
“Bridge: Oh I’ll be STRANDED ( wow I’m used to it lol)
I’ll be nowhere.
Million miles away from all I know. Oh
But you were there to keep me grounded
I counted on you
You brought me home oh
You gave me strength….I just wanna THANK YOU.
An expanded awareness came to me, that CHARICE in her simple and still childlike ways, will give us the right direction. Her inspiration will show us our TRUE NORTH in life. That we will know where we are coming from in order to reach our destination.
CHARICE is the COMPASS that I am looking for. The one that tells me that, WHAT IS LOST CAN BE FOUND AGAIN.
Thank you CHARICE, for being my COMPASS in this sea of life…so that I would know , where I am…and my way back…HOME!
(P.S. I kissed her several times for all of you).

First impression upon entering the arena: SHEER MADNESS. There were seemingly thousands of Japanese, virtually ALL of them appearing to be in their teens, twenties or thirties who had assembled on this night, for one reason: CHARICE. >> Full story

I actually like the HD videos posted by an audience on Youtube vs the PBS edited one. First thing that I noticed is that her voice there sounds more raw, powerful and the sound reproduction has better bass.
Although the PBS one seems to have a better video quality. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you Artemis. Somehow you always manage (by your splendid writing) to bring home the magic of Charice for those of us not fortunate enough to experience her “live”.
Thanks for kissing her multiple times for us! Heheh

Returning to my balcony concert seat, next to our generous benefactor, Chaster Clause (CC), and hearing CC’s words of comfort, “it’s okay, you gave it your best”, then, seeing the smile on CC’s face, as CC’s eyes danced with the reflection of Charice, I felt the wholeness of “Chaster Love”! I felt this same spirit of “Chaster Love” while seated next to Artemis as she began to compose this article and I felt it from the beginning of the journey, while seated on the plane next to LAfan as he prolifically typed about our “Touchdown in Tokyo, and the Joy of Giving, the Chaster Way.” Honestly, I felt it in every moment that Chasters came together. To those, like me, who may struggle with thoughts that their best just isn’t good enough, I take the liberty to change a lyric from a song that Charice eloquently shared the sentiments of her heart in its introduction, “Chasters you’re amazing, just the way you are!” Chasters together at the top! Charice… At the top baby!

I was able to write this article because I was inspired by the 7 letter name (CHARICE) that encompasses so many WONDERS and STORIES. I am also inspired by people like Chaster Clause, you sideburnersol and all the CHASTERS all over the world.
I thank God for all of you.
