Charice Tweets ‘Thank You’ After Nagoya Concert

Charice Tweets ‘Thank You’ After Nagoya Concert

It was her first concert on her first solo tour, and the crowds loved it – as did Charice, who tweeted a thank you message only hours after getting off stage.

The message was short and sweet, thanking those that attended for being there and declaring enthusiastically that her next stop is Tokyo.

“Just did my concert here in Nagoya, Japan. Thank you soooo much for coming!!!! I love you, all! Next Stop: Tokyo!”

The build-up to the start of her Japan tour had been acute, with a media campaign that saw Charice journey to the country several times over the last three months.

Her chart successes over Christmas with her version of “Happy Christmas (War is Over)”, recorded for influential radio station J-WAVE, reaching No 2 and her collaboration with Unique Zayas, “Wherever You Are,” topping the charts.

Unique was on stage with Charice to perform that hit song, from his album “From Brooklyn to You,” while the host herself performed a variety from her own album as well as some of her personal favorites. Beyonce’s “Halo” was amongst them, while she also performed a Michael Jackson medley, in a concert in which she reportedly sang 26 songs.

Reviews from Chasters who were there have not yet come in, but some footage has been uploaded on YouTube, which give a taste of what those of us who weren’t there were missing.

Were YOU there? Send us your thoughts on the concert. Was it as great as the video footage suggests? What was the highlight for you?

Many fans wanted to sing with Whitney Houston too when she sang I Will Always Love You, and could not make it, but the song was a hit. can enumerate other songs if you want. Charice just needs that sweet spot. She is already on her way there. Slowly but surely. Better than fast and gone. She will outlast Justin Bieber. Charice will be around long after people can not even remember his name.

I understand your point of view. Japanese loves singing on the karaoke in tune or out of tune and it is very hard for them to sing the song if some notes are too high for them.
