For those of you not familiar with Bop Magazine, it is an American entertainment magazine for kids ages 10 – 17, and is published by the same publisher as Tiger Beat Magazine. Articles include advice on beauty, fashion, and dating. Bop is published 11 to 12 times a year and each issue includes 6 giant posters and several mini posters. BopTV interviewed Charice and Cody Simpson at their Citadel Concert about their favorite holiday tradition. Here is what they said:

“Hi Bop and Tiger Beat! This is Cody Simpson. Now my favorite holiday tradition is my Grandma makes this cake, and it’s called pavlova, and so it’s meringue on the bottom with a sponge base on the bottom and lots of cream on top and you can decorate it with all this different kind of fruit and I haven’t had that in over a year since being in America but I’m just craving it right now. It’s yummy…but that is definitely one of my favorite holiday traditions when my Grandma makes that cake.”

“Hey, what up to all the Bop and Tiger Beat readers. It’s me, Charice and this is what we do every Christmas. I go home, you know, back to the Philippines, that’s my home, and we always do a presentation to like all my neighbors and family and friends. I always like sing a lot of songs, like you know, they request a song from me because I don’t want them to feel like oh, we can’t reach Charice anymore. I still, you know, I want them to feel, oh, she’s still the same, so I always do a presentation for them.”

Charice and Cody put on a free concert for tons of lucky shoppers and Bop and Tiger Beat got a front row seat.
