(LOS ANGELES) Right after Jim Beanz, upcoming hip-hop singer Unique Zayas and Japan’s No. 1 music producer Jeff Miyahara have teamed up with Charice for a new RnB/Dance recording.
Unique Zayas, 21, is an African-American RnB singer who also worked with stars Ne-Yo and Chris Brown during the “Up Close and Personal” concert tour.
Zayas is often welcomed by hordes of screaming female fans that adore this young artist for his immense singing talent and good looks. His musical style is best characterized as “unique, melodic and super drum-heavy.”
Zayas tweeted, “[I am] In Hollywood, recording a duet with international singer Charice, ‘This is a movie!’ [There’s] so much talent in the room!”
He was totally amazed with Charice’s performance when he tweeted, “@OfficialCharice is killing it in the booth!!! Can’t wait ‘till you guys hear what we’re working on!!!”
The duet will mark Unique Zayas’ international debut.
Just last November 3rd, his single “You, Me and the Dance Floor” under Manhattan recordings was released in Japan. This song is part of his Japan debut album, “From Brooklyn to You“.
Tokyo-based Japanese-Korean music producer Jeff Miyahara made this collaboration possible.
Miyahara has worked with international artists Boyz II Men, Timbaland, Pharell Williams. He has also worked with local Japanese superstars like Aqua Timez and Spontania.
Aqua Timez is well known for singing the 2007 season opening of the popular Manga/Anime “Bleach”.
Miyahara is also credited for selling more than 16 million digital downloads, CDs and DVDs to date. Japanese critics consider Miyahara as one of the top producers in Japan, the second-largest market for music in the world.
In October 2010, Charice also collaborated with renowned music producer Jim Beanz. In the US, Jim Beanz is considered as one of the go-to guys for anything RnB and hip-hop.
Beanz has made hits for a long list of artists, which include Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, Craig David, Justin Timberlake and even P. Diddy. Now, he’s making one for Charice.
Charice tweeted, “Hello everyone! Please follow mah boy @DaRealJimBeanz now! He’s amazing. Whatta great song we just did!!!”
Beanz replied by tweeting, “Wassup yall… Still workin on this record for @officialcharice … strictly for da clubs… lets gooooooo…!!!”
In July 2010, a few months after releasing her debut single “Pyramid”, Charice indicated during a Thai press conference that she would go onto this path. However, she did not give a specific date as to when it will happen until these recent developments.
Charice is best known for her nerve-wrecking, pitch-perfect renditions of Whitney Houston and Celine Dion ballads; however, this recent collaboration shows signs that the young singer has really started to shift more into faster-paced and more danceable tunes.
