No, she doesn’t need an Exorcism. She’s not possessed by the spirits of Bieber, Spears, Rihanna, Gaga and the Chipmunks. But it sure sounds that way. Is she in legal trouble for “stealing” their acts? Hardly! This is Charice at her playful, lovable best. And she recently showed off her zany skills on a British morning talk show. Continue Reading

(MANILA) Singing superstar Charice rocked Manila, after performing as the top bill in the sold-out Philippine installment of the David Foster and Friends Concert. She received multiple standing ovations from the typically hard-to-please Filipino audience.
The 10,000-seater Araneta Coliseum turned neon blue when the capacity crowd lit thousands of glow sticks as soon as Charice went up on stage for her turn to shine. Charice sported a picturesque look with curly hair, a classy pink dress, and her signature Sennheiser Swarovski crystal-studded bling-bling mic. Continue Reading

Don’t you sometimes wish you could take a peek behind the scenes and see your favorite stars when they let down their hair and just be themselves? The obvious risk is that the star might not be as lovable as they are on stage or in the public eye. But how could you ever think that of Charice? It just ain’t so. Charice is too much of a kid at heart, enough to make us all smile. Continue Reading

Can you believe it? Christmas is coming again, soon, and I am so ready for some holiday cheer! What better way to do it than with some Charice style?
Last year, Charice got into the Christmas mood by recording on the “Very Special Christmas” 2009, Volume 7. That album included Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Carrie Underwood, and Charice. And, as you may remember, Charice performed a duet with David Archuleta singing, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Now, look what she has in store for us. Continue Reading

19 October 2010 – The Oprah Show showcased personalities that were dubbed by the world as “The Next Big Thing.” Susan Boyle, Jackie Evancho and Debby Boone all delivered amazing performances and did candid interviews with Oprah.
Other than the live appearances of the three, short video features of other next-big-things were shown – and one of these featured Charice. This is actually Charice’s ninth time to be featured in The Oprah Show in just two years. Though this count includes re-runs, it’s a pretty big number. Charice is indeed very lucky to have Oprah as her godmother. Continue Reading

Three weeks ago, Charice outdid Beyonce’s original version of “Listen” when her cover of the same song charted higher in the Billboard Hot 100. It’s a good thing Glee decided to release her amazing performance as a single immediately after the episode’s airing since this is actually Charice’s highest charting solo entry to the Billboard Hot 100 chart at no. 38 (her hit, “Pyramid” peaked at no.1 in the Billboard Dance chart); while her “Telephone” duet with Glee co-star, Lea Michele, charted at no. 23. Oct. 20 Update: Concert Reports from Mooffin and Justcharrie
Last night’s Tokyo extravaganza won the hearts of Japanese music fans and Charice led the way, accompanied on piano by her mentor, David Foster, eliciting the most applause and garnering a standing ovation. And I had heard Japanese audiences were a tough crowd. Charice melted their hearts.
Tokyo International Forum Hall A was packed with an estimated 5000+ crowd, and if the applause did not set off an earthquake of enthusiasm, the cheering certainly did. Continue Reading

Every time Charice sings, it’s like angels have touched down on stage. When every note is sculpted so perfectly, it takes your breath away, you know a superstar is in your midst. Today was no exception when Charice and David Foster took to the airwaves on Fuji TV networks’ morning TV program “Tokudane” to promote tonight’s Tokyo concert. With them was famed singer, Peter Cetera. Continue Reading

Hey Chasters! Thanks for all the nice comments. Honestly, being there in person for the event was really a privilege, so I truly felt an obligation to provide you guys as full of an account of actually being there in person with us from start to finish.
I want to make one point about this whole “DFF mistake” issue. Like in all my previous comments I’ve written before, I think the KEY thing to always take into account whenever we see or read anything on the t.v. or internet is CONTEXT. Without proper context, one quote or short video sequence can come off to appear completely differeng than what actually happened. That is why I felt the need to include as much detail as possible in the two reports to give you guys the ‘full picture’ of what went down vs. the short snippets here and there found elsewhere. “We had witnessed her as “Sunshine Corazon”, dressed very casually, so soft-spoken, somewhat still shy, being so nice and respectful to her adoring, much older fans! Yet when she appeared on stage with Ne-Yo, she had undergone a transformation into Charice, the most beautiful girl in the world, with a FIERCE voice and attitude which exuded confidence and strength; same girl, yet two very different personas.” Continue Reading

Okay Chasters, back in L.A. after a rather tumultuous 48 hours. I left off typing out the last few words from Part 1 of the CNN report at 6:30am this morning, and after a full day of family festivities and about half an hour of interrupted sleep earlier today on the plane, I am finally back home to complete the DFF Las Vegas CNN report. Thankfully tomorrow’s not a work day!

Friday night in Las Vegas, super-producer DAVID FOSTER hosts another installment of Foster & Friends, his all-star series of concerts featuring artists he’s worked with in the past. The one he did in 2008, with MICHAEL BUBLE, JOSH GROBAN, CHICAGO’s PETER CETERA and more, was filmed and became one of the most successful specials in PBS history. Continue Reading
