It’s super exciting to see the rest of the world discover what we have known for some time — Charice is one-of-a-kind, not only an incomparable singer but a wonderful person. Just three years ago, Charice was a virtual unknown outside the Philippines, the Star King video had yet to go viral on You Tube, and she had seriously considered giving up singing. How fortunate we are that she didn’t do so.
To be in the top 5 of BillBoard’s pick as the most likely teen rulers of the pop world is surreal. Just 2 years back, she won’t even feature in the entire list, just shows how fast her turbo-charged career has progressed. Two years from now, who knows where she’ll be?

I understand this rating was taken before her performance in Glee. Maybe No. 3 is in order,not 4, my opinion. At any rate, Congrats Charice – at the top baby!
Charice believes in the power of education in uplifting the plight of the poor so she sponsored a good number of children to help in their education thru World Vision Foundation. She is also active in helping Operations Smiles.
the charice virus is spreading in the office where i am working in here in Qatar. i introduced charice first to a lady next to my working station. she watched her in youtube. the next day, she came in telling me how impressed she was with her vocal range. today, she is telling me aside from viewing her performances in youtube, she is updating herself with everything there is written about our beloved Cha.
I am truly happy that our Charice is engaging herself in humanitarian works. I hope this act will also become viral among all the chasters, that is, becoming themselves an instrument in uplifting the plight of the underprivileged, by extending ourselves for the betterment of humanity. hahaha!!! you’r not alone gnodeanim… i too here in industrial area (in doha, qatar) have been my co-workers’ everyday source since some of them were staying just near our working site and have no internet source… they are always asking me if there are new video’s from our princess and if there’s any, i’m always proving it to them and i never failed to impress them everytime they got finished watching it… it’s really an amazing feeling to see their happy faces and jaw dropped right after…
