Charice’s Week in Review is a new Weekly Series on CM to help you follow Charice’s hectic schedule. Each week, we will post a concise review of the past week’s events. We realize many Chasters: have limited time; miss something good as there too many Charice events to follow; or feel they are wasting time reading too many articles that say the same thing! To kick things off we review the past two weeks as a bonus.

Charice starts this hectic week with her 3rd US Teen magazine (1st was J-14 then PopStar) featured article with multiple photos including a Cover lead-in photo for M Magazine. Charice also made PopStar Magazine’s list of the “The 100 Hottest Stars of Summer” More >> .

Then rolls in a beautiful RollingStone.com article featuring Charice on the new season of Glee; “whose killer pipes challenge New Directions’ brightest star, Rachel Berry” You probably remember the video of Charice singing “Halo” for their staff last month. SevenTeen.com publishes their interview with Charice: Highlights include what song Charice sang at her Glee audition – “In This Song”; how she learned she won the role – Tweeter overload; and what Charice lists as her #1 accomplishment so far – duet with Celine Dion at Madison Square Garden. As I write this Charice’s album is #1 on both Japan’s Amazon.com and iTunes.com – actually it is #1 & 2 on iTunes. So why is Charice doing so spectacularly well in one of the most difficult music markets. I mean many very popular top 40 US artists are not even in the top 200 in Japan, but they love Charice. by the way, do you mind chronicling all of charice’s appearance that were posted/covered here in cm. you see there are times that i wanted to view/read a particular event that was covered here, but it is quite troublesome (and maybe i feel lazy, lol), so having this ‘summary’ will really make it easier to find a particular event.
