LOS ANGELES — When we interviewed director Ryan Murphy in Cancun, Mexico about “Eat Pray Love,” his film with Julia Roberts, we grabbed the chance to ask him how he came to cast Charice Pempengco in his hit TV show “Glee.”

Young starlet Charice set to take on the world after being noticed on Youtube.
Charice Pempengco is every bit a songstress diva. She hummed a few melodies here and there to fill the void during our interview, and upon request to sing a Happy Birthday tune for a local magazine, Pempengco, better known as Charice, had no qualms. Charice who was in South Korea last week, tweeted about recording “Endless Love” with K.Will for a new music show program called “The MUZIT.” Kim Hyung-Soo, better known by his stage name K.Will is a popular South Korean ballad singer who was recently cast as the main emcee for the music show.
