Filipino singer Charice is this week’s guest blogger for AOL Radio, sharing her 10 favorite songs. Generating popularity through YouTube with her performance of the David Foster-arranged ‘Bodyguard Medley,’ Charice has since been on ‘Oprah,’ ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and even performed with Celine Dion as part of Dion’s Taking Chances Tour. Now the singer is getting her feet wet tackling R&B original tracks, specifically ‘Pyramid’ featuring Virgin Isles singer Iyaz. Featuring Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Lara Fabian and more, here are Charice’s favorite songs.

10. Miley Cyrus: ‘The Climb’
This is such an inspirational song for me, especially the first verse of the song. Oh my gosh.. I don’t wanna cry, but that really happened to me.
9. Lady GaGa: ‘Just Dance’
I’m super big fan of Lady Gaga. I’m actually one of her Little Monsters. Haha
I love all her songs, but this one’s the bomb! I’ve actually sung this song at some of my shows!
8. Lara Fabian: ‘Adagio’
This is actually an Italian song. Adagio means “slowly.”
If you look for the English version of this, you’re going to love it more. This song is a heartbreaking one. I love listening to this when I’m sad. LOL.
7. Justin Bieber: ‘Baby’
Now, this is what I’m talking about! All the girls out there, say JUSSSTTIIINN!!! Haha. I love his songs; they’re so catchy. I love dancing to this.
6. Beyonce: ‘If I Were a Boy’
I love the way she sang this song, especially at the Grammys. It’s so powerful. Although I’m not yet experienced, I can feel every lyric, and I can feel for y’all girls out there. Lol.
5. Whitney Houston: ‘I Have Nothing/ I Will Always Love You’
David Foster arranged the ‘Bodyguard Medley’ for me. These songs are the reason I got discovered on YouTube.
I sang this when I was 12 at a competition in the Philippines. I lost, but that’s fine. The past is Past.
4. Charice: ‘Note to God’
This is actually my song, but originally sung by Jojo. I LOVE THIS SONG. It feels like I’m talking to God when I’m singing this song.
3. Charice: ‘Pyramid’
I gotta say this is one of my favorites. First, this is my first pop/R&B song. You know me for singing songs by Whitney, Celine, or Mariah, but now I have new music. That’s why this is my fave even though it’s my song.
I LOVE IYAZ AS WELL!
2. Beyonce: ‘Halo’
This is a hard song to sing. I’m so inspired by it, and I always cry when I’m listening to it on my iPod.
1. Helen Reddy: ‘You and Me Against the World’
This is the theme song for me, my mom and brother. The lyrics explain it all.

You are such a pleasure to interview, I’m sure you will have more requests for guesting than there is time. Just keep being yourself – the World loves you, for you!

Like her vocal range, I am sure her emotions and passions run the whole range as well. This, and her talents, personality and character is what makes her such an interesting, captivating, fascinating and dynamic person.
I love reading/watching/listening to her interviews and getting insights into her character. I’ve never been fascinated by any other person (aside from the obvious non living ones LOL!) until Charice came along. I can see a lot of myself in her and definitely feel where that funniness, cockiness, dynamism and childlike-ness comes from!
All I can say is… she is one helluva special person. Go girl go Charice to the top baby yeaaaahh!!

They’re a nice pair.! They are both discover thru Youtube..
That will gonna be a huge hit.
The said part is that. Charice is first discovered than Justin. But, Justin firt make his name in the Hollywood music scene..!
