“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” will have a mix of new and old covers, ranging from Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” to The Kinks’ “You Really Got Me.” The original soundtrack for its 2007 predecessor “Alvin and the Chipmunks” topped out at number five on the Billboard charts and sold over one million copies. In addition to Beyoncé and The Kinks, artists such as Katy Perry (“Hot N Cold”) and Pink (“So What”) are covered in “The Squeakquel.” Asked what parents can do to protect themselves from the expected onslaught of Chipmunk overload, “Buy earplugs!” says Ali Dee, the film’s co-producer on the soundtrack.

Hmmm… I watched 3x but couldn´t find Charice there. Is she in the last part? Queensberry is a girlie castingband here in Germany. Youth-oriented of course. I´m looking forward for the 24th of Dec. My two daughters always sing the song No One… but I’m sure they’d love this version even more with Cha and the Chipettes! I’ve been listening to it myself since yesterday.
Charice’s voice is just amazingly versatile… she has that different sound for every song she sings. I really like that — because even with other artists that I like, I sometimes get tired listening to an entire album wherein all songs seem to sound the same. This is making me really look forward to Cha’s album!

‘No One’ sings better than Charice. I bought my copy from amazon and have been listening and replaying the song over and over and over again. I can’t wait for the album but to quote from the Fingerprint song, ‘good things are worth the wait.

It must be from the movie since it’s the same dress she showed in her trailer tour. She showed the dress in the closet and said this is what she’ll be wearing.
