Charice seems to be everywhere these days. Here she is appearing on the UKG Morning Show being interviewed and singing “Note to God” to a very receptive audience. Charice continues to be ever so humble and giving credit to those responsible for her United States success – David Foster, Warner Bros. and of course, Oprah Winfrey.

I’ve always liked the UKG staff whenever Charice is invited to be a guest. They seem warm and REALLY happy for Charice. Unlike in some ABS CBN shows. And Donita strikes me to be proud for Charice’s accomplishments. Well, it’s no wonder. Donita used to be with MTV Asia and tried to make a name in the international scene. There were people who tried to pull her down too.

Filipino Volunteerism/Talents recognized
There will be a replay of the “10 Heroes of the Year” award on Saturday and Sunday (11/28 & 11/29), on CNN, at 8:00 PM eastern time. Efren PenaFlorida, a Filipino, was chosen as CNN’s Hero of Year.
With people like Efren PenaFlorida, Charice, Manny Pacquiao, Arnel Pineda and the two Filipino members of the Black Eyed Peas, the Philippines is slowly being recognized by the whole world for our talents. We should be very proud of them.

I think there is only one filipino in the Black Eyed Peas, Allan Pineda (aka: apl ap de ap), also a co-founder of the band. Apl Ap De Ap is also half black african american, who was born in the Phil.. He was 15 y.o. when he came to the U.S., thru the petition of his american adopted parents.

Hi, Joy Co
I think Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas is also a Filipino. I remember that he said so during the Oprah show last month.
Anyway, I just want to commend Filipinos like Charice, etc. They are building our image to the whole world.

It will really be a good morning if you will hear Charice sings her heart out and seeing her ever jolly composure. As usual , early hours does not restrain her from belting out – perfectly. So perfect that some even thought that she lipsynched. But oh, we know lipsynching isn’t in her vocabulary, right?
