Last Saturday, November 14, Charice performed in New York for the Black Tie Gala 37th Annual Promise Ball to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF International is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. Their mission is to find a cure for diabetes through the support of research. The Annual Promise Ball is JDRF’s largest fundraising gala (with a goal to raise over $2 million for critical diabetes research), and one of New York’s most prestigious black tie events. Over 650 corporate, social and entertainment leaders attended the evening of live entertainment, music, and dancing.
