I noticed that it was a long interview, and LIVE at that. Really, I was summoning all I have learned in English as a spiritwave so I can send it to her if she ever needed my help! Unfortunately, I was only viewing a recorded one, hihihi. Anyway, I resolved to trust her since she's a brave girl and a survivor! To my joy, she was marvelous! Though there were some minor struggles in finding the right words, her personality and courage made the interview a really proud moment for most of us. :) Honestly, I was very anxious when i first saw this video. ABS-CBN is a huge Filipino TV network, whose mission is to bring the Filipino channels to the OFWs and Filipinos who migrated to their second home countries. They are huge. I won't be surprised if one day, DFF will decide to tour where there are OFWs coz TFC will help bring in the crowd. I guess, other than the fact that Charice is a proud Filipina, the shout out or the mentioning of Filipinos by DF is also a small gesture to honor his sponsor, don't you think so? DF has never toured in his life. I think the DFF gives him so much pleasure that he just might do it regularly. WOWOWEE sent an autographed CD to DF before the tour started; and that according to DF he plans to be in Manila on Feb 2010; is there a possibility of having a valentine's Day concert? DF looking for new talents might be extended over to the PI? ..... all these make me think that DF's having a concert in the Philippines either to promote Charice's international album and or to bring DFF is imminent. I think it is bound to happen. On the other hand, ABS-CBN will do everything in its power to get DF involved in many of its talents, somehow, one way or the other. Talents that will eventually follow Charice's footsteps. I really think ABS-CBN's ultimate motive is to eventually get as many of its talents be recognized internationally. The network is playing "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" kind of thing at the moment (in my opinion). Through TFC, DF might know how large the Fil-Am population is, and he said it himself ... Fils are crazy for ballads (his kind of music). If he could tap that demographic, he could be certain that his shows will always be packed. Other than ballads, what would make us Fils go to his show. Charice? So of course it would be wrong. Charice gives a shout out to her Filipino fans when she sees that there are many Filipino fans in the crowd, especially because they make her feel at home.
