You can now LISTEN to a snippet of the new track “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” on David Archuleta’s forthcoming album. It’s not even October and pre-orders have taken David Archuleta’s upcoming Christmas album to the top of the Amazon holiday charts. Set for release on October 13th, the album features 13 holiday classics, a duet with Charice Pempengco and a ‘melodies’ track written by David and his father, Jeff. We spoke with Archuleta a few months ago and asked him to recall his earliest Christmas memory.
David said his earliest memory was when he went Christmas caroling with his cousin. They wore Santa Claus hats. Another early memory was just spending time with the family. He thinks those memories are always good to have, but it’s very hard to do that now as they are all spread out. It was great to make those memories, he added.

I think the best tagalog rendition Charice sang live (at Little Big Star) was “Miss Kita Kung Christmas”. a Kundiman type of a song.

thanks drtp#33 for that video – the Tagalog songs are naturally more emotive to begin with, then you add Charice’s special “secret ingredient” rendition … then try the studio-recorded version … then imagine hearing that when you are abroad at Christmas time …
