The buzz continues as Parade magazine featured Charice under the column of Walter Scott’s Personality Parade. Parade is a national Sunday newspaper magazine distributed in more than 400 newspapers in the United States.  It is the most widely read Sunday magazine in America with a circulation of 32 million and a readership of 71 million.

As described in Wikipedia, this section, Personality Parade,  is a roundup of questions about various celebrities. More often than not, the celebrities mentioned will be involved in some project or movie which is just about to be released. Being featured in the PARADE magazines legitimizes her status as an up & coming music artist powerhouse.  This is the first and certainly not the last.

The name CHARICE has become a familiar sound not only in the Philippines but also to the celebs themselves  in the US after hearing her belt-out her own rendition of  songs popularized by many music icons in several high caliber fund raising events in Hollywood and Las Vegas.

Q When will teen sensation Charice release her first CD?—L. West, Seattle, Wash.

A “I’ve already recorded seven songs, and the CD should be out this fall,” says Charice, 17, whose powerful voice has been compared to Whitney Houston’s. Since winning millions of fans on the Web, she’s sung with Andrea Bocelli and Céline Dion, appeared on Ellen and Oprah, and made enough to buy her mom a house in her native Philippines.
