It’s nice to see Billboard easily and naturally associate Charice’s name with the best female singers in music. She belongs in their company.
Hollywood, for all its many faults, has the saving grace of appreciating, nurturing, and, indeed, just about worshiping, true talent whenever it’s found. Hollywood is now behind Charice, the truest new singing talent on the planet, and its collective creative juices are flowing for her. She’s the “It” girl in the music community today. The nutty thing about art is that even though she has all that behind her, she still needs the favor of the mysterious and fickle music gods to hit it big.
