After Amazon.com and iTunes‘ music charts, international singing sensation Charice has now conquered the latest Billboard Hot 100.
The Filipino singer’s “Note to God”, composed and written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster, placed 44th on Hot 100 singles chart this week.
The Billboard Hot 100 is the list of most popular singles in the United States issued weekly by Billboard magazine, the world’s premier music publication. Chart rankings are based on radio play and sales gains.
Charice first performed her single on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” last May 18 (US time). The May 18 episode was the finale of Oprah’s worldwide search for the “Most Talented Kids.”
Hours after the world saw her sing “Note to God,” the single became one of iTunes and Amazon.com’s bestsellers.
Her first international album will be released late this year.

And NO…we are not being biased with people, you all have to remember that this is a volunteer work for everyone and we all do require sleep and have to tend to our own personal lives. We don’t always catch the provoking comments that are hateful, hurting or just plain arrogant in nature. And if we did miss the bad ones, yes we will admit that some bad comments slipped out of our hands. We do try to remove them as soon as we get to them, anything that may continue to add fuel to the fire. That doesn’t mean we allow one person to get away with it and not the other. So, stop all the accusation and bickering folks… hehe… Don’t assume we love you any less just because your comment was removed. Sometimes you guys mean well, but sometimes certain words used can still cause a ripple effect that continues to add fuel to the fire. Also, remember none of us are perfect and we are trying to handle things the best possible way. I think you just showed how to effectively use internet time in helping promote airplay for Note To God. It’s cool to have a station that actually reads emails, too, and for them to actually respond.
We need more of this action, especially with fans based in North America.

Hey Guys! I have been requesting NTG to FM stations here in NY but nobody replied. So, what I did is to email to the manager of my favorite online radio station – RADIOIO at http://www.radioio.com. I was surprised when the manager replied. Please see the content of his message below:
Hi jsc – I appreciate your e-mails regarding Charice. Right now, that song does not belong on our Top 20 Pop hits channel. Although a debut at #44 last week was impressive, it is now off the US charts. All of the songs that make a splashy debut because of sales alone (like the Glee cast at #4 last week) do not get added because they will all drop quickly. This channel is for songs that have / will have longevity at radio. Which isn’t to say that “Note To God” couldn’t. It could come back around, I’ve seen it before.
With that said, I will tell you that I do like the song, I think Charice is very talented, and as she continues to create a buzz, I am considering adding the track to radioio Today’s Pop.

To make sure the radio station has absolutely NO EXCUSE not to play the song, burn a copy of Note to God unto a CD and SEND to the station with your request! Make sure you send the CD with DELIVERY & SIGNATURE confirmation so you know they really got the CD! Better yet, if you live close by, go over to the station and hand deliver the CD! Once that’s done, DO NOT take no for an answer! But be nice about it. Tell whoever answers the phone that you LOVE listening to the station and listening to Note to God over your favorite station would make your listening experience just PERFECT! ) Keep asking for the song. Get your buddies to call, too. Better if the calls come from multiple sources one after another (Tsunami like) so the station staff gets swept away in it. You and your friends can take turns bombarding the station with requests. You get the idea. Before long, Note to God will be playing every day in the airwaves!

We the fans of Charice with deep pockets can not do it alone by downloading her single over and over. All celebrities whether singers or actors do make TV promo appearances to pitch in their “product.”
Some people here in CM thinks that by being “armchair critics” is enough to support Charice, well, wake up and smell the truth.
I know Max work hard to have a contest but it appears that did not help the sale of her NTG. Now Charice was knocked off the Charts.

Sorry to say that Charice is out of Billboard Tops for now unless you subscribe for $29.95 and see her name probably around 150 in Hot Top 100. She is neither in ITunes. The only thing left is Amazon Top 50 for Hot new releases in MP3 downloads. Even this one will be gone soon unless.
Unless something is done. Lovely Soul is perfectly correct that a US Promo tour is that important in the US market. A lot of TV guestings is needed. Chasters alone buying her record is not enough. She has to go into the US mainstream like what American Idol does to a relative unknown. Let her sing again in Ellen, etc. I wonder whatever happened to Today show? For sure Marc Johnson, David Foster and her team know what is important. I also still have to hear her on the radio here in LA.

The only good suggestion to boost sales as of now, is for Charice to make promo appearances on National TV like, GMA, Live w/ Regis and Kelly and of course, The View.
However, we have come into problem with some skeptics thinking that
some “TV Host” is not legit. How can we help Charice into U.S. Market if we have people with this kind of mentality?
They show up in this CM site once in a blue moon wrecking havoc and not a thing to positively help Charice.

At the end of the day, Charice is not back in ITunes but still is #72 in ITunes Canada. She’s still in Top 50 in Hot New releases and Top 100 MP3 downloaded songs in Amazon.
Although ITunes held 70% of the market, it looks like Amazon is closing the gap. I therefore make a bold prdiction that come tomorrow, Thursday, Charice will still be in Billboard Top 100 for the second straight week when the new charts will appear.
That will calm us down Lovely Soul, but the campaign continues. I don’t have twitter, it’s just not my cup of tea.

Lovely Soul,
She was hovering around #99 yesterday under pop of ITunes. But this morning around 6:30 AM PST, she was definitely gone. At Amazon she was at 44 for Hot New Realeases and like 89 at MP3 download bestsellers.
Her song had to compete with a lot of American Idol songs that were not even original like Mad World of Lambert and the new release No Boundaries which was criticized by Simon Cowell.
If all Chasters all over the world will respond something can happen.
For those who cannot download from outside of the US somewhere in this site is a place where you can buy some sort of a debit card and use it to download from ITunes in the US.
Again let’s see what happens at the end of the day.

To those who are managing this site in the US (if it would not be too much to ask): Perhaps you could think of a way wherein we in other parts of the world (where we could not download or find difficulty downloading from iTunes and Amazon for various reasons including inability to download the necessary application because of company firewalls)could send small amounts of money to you for downloading NTG it would somehow help boost the ratings of NTG. You could help do the downloading for us after we send small amounts (like $25 or $50). Then when you find time (no hurry), you could e-mail the NTG song files to us and/or to those who want them but have no means to buy. I believe there are others who are thinking the same thing. Btw, this is just a suggestion and you should not feel obligated. Regards.

Well, if we can give a dollar for a beggar on the street, we can definitely give a dollar for Charice today and ask a lot of our friends to download her Note from ITunes.
