Charice will pay the Today Show a visit on Monday, June 1, 2009 to promote her single, Note To God. Hoda Kotb has nothing but praises for our beloved princess whom she referred to as a woman instead of a girl. 
Today Show is hosted by Matt Lauer, Meredith Viera, Al Roker, Ann Curry, Hoda Kotb, Kathie Lee, Lester Holt, Natalie Morales, Jenna Wolfe, and Amy Robach.
Please tune in to your local NBC Channel to watch Charice perform live. The Today Show will air at 7:00 am until 9:am Eastern Daylight Time. Please check your local listing.

Damn, I used to have this DISSENTION disease, too. I couldn’t provoke anyone into disagreeing with me, so I went to see a doctor. He did something and told to wait in the waiting room and return in 5 minutes. There I found that I could provoke people again and soon they started yelling at me–everything was cool again. Went back in and asked the doc how he did it. He replied, you had a “t” that didn’t belong there so I replaced it with an “s”.

I’m happy that you asked that question–about my coffee being too sweet. Well, that’s what you think. But for me, I enjoy and love it that way. For some people, they want it black. For some, they add whiskey etc. All of us are unique in all aspects that you can think about in this imperfect world. We have to live by the accepted civil norm to create harmony. Our minds should meet somewhere to have a lasting peace. If not, I’ll stay home and just enjoy my 5 daily brews of nail-cracking strong coffee.

Thanks Michael, now I got your point. You are a person just like most of the people writing here – A CONCERNED CHASTER. The only difference is that you are relating to the failures of the past, to which nothing we can do about and you are moving too fast to the future, to which no one of us perfectly know except God. The sad part you can’t seem to enjoy the present- a 17 year old great singer named Charice, whom I believe is enjoying every moment of it and always making sure that she is giving us what she does best- SING.

The problem now is longevity which I’m sure the song won’t have unless they promote heavily outside television. The only promo she has so far is that one performance and the Today performance this Monday, and all that does is cause sales spikes. She needs radio airplay to stay on the charts but Note To God is like an Adult Contemporary song and I don’t know if Warner is even going to attempt to get the song on the radio. I have a feeling this single is purely an introduction to the public and to build awareness before Charice’s debut album in a couple of months, which will have more radio friendly songs. Still, what an accomplishment! Just getting in the Top 50 on the main Billboard chart is already a big achievement. – From dcrux, one of charice bloggers. I agree with this guy/gal’s analysis.

There are some postings that I don’t care about: the postings of some so-called Charice fans. They are not fans, they are nitpickers, nothing will satisfy the fault-finders, so I just ignore them. This thread, however, has reached 68 postings with the same topic rehashed over and over again: the so-called apprehension of a fan named Michael about Charice’s skills or lack of skills in being interviewed in English. I have read every single interview about Charice, i have watched every single youtube upload about her. Charice has come a loooong way from her very humble beginnings in Laguna. And not once, not once have I not been so proud of this little girl. I am not an ignorant fan, I am a highly educated person, who has been practicing her profession for 30+ years already and I do not find anything wrong with the way Charice handles her interviews whether in English or in tagalog. She is a very smart girl and she is learning fast. Suggestion: Can we please stop, just stop nitpicking on her command of the English language? From the time she was interviewed by Ellen, what struck me was her enunciation of the words. I haven’t read any article criticizing her about her English except among Pinoys.

Charice singing talent is quickly and surely getting recognized. Like her fans here, and elsewhere, I love Charice for her God given singing talent. This good interviews and perfect spoken english is irrelevant to me. I buy her CDs solely due to her amazing voice. My US born daughter should handle these type of interviews well, but I will not buy my daughter’s CD, if she ever produces one, because she does’nt sing nearly as good as Charice. For me it’s great singing and/or beatiful music that motivates me to buying a particular CD. Good speaking and excellent interviews, yes I leave that to lawyers and politians.

To fellow chasters,
We need to refrain from arguing over this issue. Charice will be fine. She is in good hands. We know as a fan, we have grown to be attached to her and it is understandable that we feel like it is our duty to protect her… it is a good thing. However, if we end up fighting, it is no longer a good thing.
We must focus on how to spread Charice’s name, music, and her awesome talent to the world instead of arguing with one another.

What’s the fuzz” Didn’t anybody hear Charice interview after she sang “Note to God” at Oprah Winfrey Show. It was a perfect English accent. What an improvement after a year in America. As every one knows, children and teen-agers alike pick up the English accent naturally. And she answered the questions like a teen ager should answer it. I’m pretty sure when she becomes an adult she will anwer the questions in a more mature way and of course in her own entertaining way. Wasn’t it great that with her simple answers she got the accolade of the audience. Her simple but honest answers made her her tick to the audience. She is so real. People loves her for what she is. Okay, I will be direct.She is not fake not like other entertainers just to get some attention would answer anything to be in the limelight. Case closed, Michael.

i’m really glad that david foster and oprah knows how to handle such a young talent with so much care and love (in a non-possessive way). Both seems very understanding and patient! and both knows that more than the impression she make on others, what really matters is who charice is inside and who she is becoming!
