Ladies and Gentlemen; We at Charicemania would like to present a special recognition to all the people who have offered his/her heart in giving love, contributions, time and effort in making our first “International Charice’s Birthday and Chasters’ Gathering” a successful and fun event!

The moment arrived when Chasters’ dream came true in Las Vegas!! Chasters had the time of their lives in Las Vegas as they awaited with anticipation and excitement of meeting Charice in person to celebrate her 17th birthday gathering!
On one hot and humid weekend, thousands from all over the world converged on a small but infamous glitzy strip of hotels and casinos on arid, desert land known as Las Vegas. There, they looked forward to hearing their favorite singer, a young lady who has captivated the world with her enormous singing voice. They also hoped to have the chance of meeting her in person, as well as other fans who share their admiration and passion for the young singer.
For months, their wait turned into anticipation. Anticipation turned into yearning. As the concert date drew near, their excitement mounted and grew to a crescendo as they started to prepare for their trips to Las Vegas. Soon they pack their bags and descend, en masse, to the city known for its bright lights and glorified hedonism to join fellow fans in hearing and possibly meeting Charice.
On one weekend in Las Vegas, their dreams came true.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and since no amount of writing can ever capture the excitement, euphoria and emotions of that one weekend in Las Vegas, let the following images describe the moments Chasters felt for those who weren’t able to come. And for those who did come, relive those moments all over again.

Chasters’ big gathering day to celebrate Charice’s 17th birthday!
After witnessing a spectacular concert that included many great artists and surprise visits from singing legends, all culminating in Charice’s fabulous, jaw-dropping performance, Chasters might as well have asked: could anything else top such an impressive event?
How about meeting with fellow Charice fans and meeting The Girl With The Voice herself?
The following day, for Chasters all roads led to Giorgio’s Ristorante in Mandalay Bay. Besides being an appointed place for lunch, it was also a venue for a chance to finally meet acquaintances made online, to make new friends who share their same love for Charice, a place to put a face to the names behind the computer screens. It was also where, for many, a rendezvous with destiny was about to take place: the chance to finally see Charice up close and personal.
Perhaps for others, the following photographs are mere chronicles of one Sunday in May at an Italian restaurant. For the numerous fans of Charice who were there, these pictures are far more than that: they represent treasured keepsakes of those precious moments where we celebrated the occasion of a special person’s birthday and enjoyed each other’s company.
For those of us who were there, may we cherish the camaraderie, laughter and joy we shared with Charice and with one another.

Wow. What a great time it looks like you all had. I admit I’m jealous of everybody. You really have some great pictures with Charice and all. What a scapebook you must have now. Many, many thanks to everyone at the gathering. Having chasters from different parts of the world to convened in one place is hard enough but GM, KV and organizers of this event pulled it through.
18wheeleredy suggested a bigger venue next time ( Madison Square Garden)..hehehe. This could happen as Charice popularity rises along with her fans. Now that we all have experience planning this type of event, we’ll be able to plan another one with no problem..except when Charice shows up(pandemonium happens) and we need more crowd control…count me in as bodyguard again for the next gathering.

Nice pics,vids and heartwarming comments. Not only because of the vocal prowess but the overall personality of Charice, we come united to promote this precious gem. We cried, laughed and got inspired with her songs. Charice is radiating with love and we could see that in the eyes of the real chasters/chaddicts or whatever we call us. OK, before this article is archived, I want to make sure I get to thank the following folks for all the help at the event: (This is NOT in any order of importance, just a function of my memory)
Madz – for the wonderful name tags, for taking charge of the registration, for being such a well-mannered young lady. I expected a semi-rambunctious spirit and I saw an almost delicate, yet strong one. Thank you for all that you took on!
Melvee – for the unwavering assist at seating guests (to the end!) and standing by outside to make sure we do not miss Charice’s entrance. If ever I needed someone to (wo)man the doors anytime, anywhere, it’ll be you!
Cha_rade – for taking over lighting the birthday candles, serving the birthday cake, figuring out the farthest distance guests travelled to be at the event and anything else where a hand was needed.
Charing – for the live streaming. I am sorry to say that I was oblivious to it all until JayRox alerted me that we were already ‘on’ – (I would have been more mindful of all the times I got in the way of the cameras! – but no matter). I am only now realizing how much entertainment the live streaming provided to those who couldn’t attend. I am specially thankful because such skills are tasks I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole!
ebjohns – for courageously herding every guest aside to take their picture for the compilation Max requested. I gleefully handed the task to her and she took off with it with all the diligence and conscientiousness I could never find. (To Jason: for sitting through with all the Pinoys before the event!)
AlexG – for bringing my copy of Charice’s My Inspiration CD. Thanks for raising funds for Mom Raq’s present. I purposely did not ask for change so you could add the extra (small) amount to the fund.
Black Widow & CherrBear – for gamely accommodating requests for them to sing! To borrow from the PGA Tour’s slogan: These girls are good!
Daniel – for your generosity of spirit and gracious presence.
CLR4LIFE’s wife and child (Diana) – for helping Madz at the registration booth. Thank you! (CLR, my apologies to your wife for not remembering her name. Your daugher is precious!)
