Before you proceed to read the details of the gathering, please note:
Deadline for reservation and registration (w/payment) is Friday, April 3, 2009, for you and your party who are planning to attend this gathering. Sign up and register soon! While seats are still available! Once we are booked to our maximum capacity we will no longer accept late signups. However, we will establish a waiting list (sign ups) for any last minute cancelations that will need to be replaced or filled.
Also, there is no guarantee that Charice and her family will be able to attend at the gathering! Please bear in mind that Charice may have other plans for her birthday and has a very hectic schedule. On behalf of Charicemania staff, we would like to invite all Chasters from all her fan sites to a huge gathering event in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 11 A.M. – 3 P.M., to meet and put faces behind all of the anonymous usernames and possibly meet and celebrate Charice’s 17th birthday with her!
Our Chasters’ (Charice fans) gathering event will be held at Giorgio Ristorante in Mandalay Bay hotel on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 11 A.M. – 3 P.M. Giorgio Ristorante specializes in traditional Italian dishes and reflects Sardinian Executive Chef Nico Chessa’s versatility with home style cooking and authentic Italian ingredients. Giorgio Ristorante boasts one of the best appointed private dining venues on the Strip, ideal for wedding receptions, corporate events, holiday parties and banquets for up to 200 people. The restaurant is easily accessed via the Mandalay Place valet parking on Mandalay Bay Road between the Mandalay Bay and Luxor casinos.

I’m so sorry for the disappointing news justcharrie. I know you were looking forward to going but I’m sure it won’t be the last chance. There should be many more events like this with these wonderful people. So while this is a bad moment there will be more chances and hopefully somewhere down the road you, as well as I, will get to meet all the chasters and, of course Charice.

OK, I’m already in the Las Vegas area. Went for a walk early this morning. Despite the heat, it already feels like a good day!
OK, guys, there is a good chance that neither my son-in-law nor my daughter can make it to this event. They want to celebrate Mother’s Day together and that means with their 20-month old twins! Life would be infinitely simpler for them if they stayed home, don’t you think?
However, Max, did ask me to make sure that everyone’s pictures be taken and I was going to have my son-in-law take those pictures. Since I’m sure that everyone will bring his/her own camera, how about someone from each table volunteer to take the pictures of those in their table? Then email those pictures to GM (copy me please?). Maybe we can have ebjohns do a compilation of Charicemanian faces at this event?
