Dear GM, KV and PsC,

First, let me say that we very much appreciate all the work you do to maintain this web site, and we further appreciate volunteer’s such as Ethel’s efforts to keep us informed. It is arguably the Number 1 site to keep up with Charice’s exploding fame. Phil Bolsta’s blog is also much appreciated.

As you already know, the traffic just keeps growing for this site. The recent slow downs and down time attest to this.

I did not know it was a volunteer effort. Maybe its time to look for sponsors and/or donations to increase capacity and provide English translations. Frankly, I think her official site is a very poor one. If Charice is paying a firm to maintain it, she is not getting much value for her investment.

I don’t know how much work it takes to add English sub-titles to videos, but Charice’s efforts internationally are watched by millions in America.

Charice will never be an international star until the language barrier is broken. That’s just the way it is.

Charice’s management needs to recognize this as well. For example, she needs to do an English version of her interviews (perhaps other languages as well). Even though her English is not that perfect, its the meaning of the words that count. I think all of her fans; Phillipinos, Americans, Europeans and other nationalities want the best for this extraordinarily talented young lady.

I’m posting this message on more than one of the articles in hopes somebody will get it to the appropriate personnel. Please pardon my repetitions.

Charice, please make the US your homebase, if you want to go mainstream. Like other great singers, i.e Celine who is Canadian, she made the US her homebase. YOu are not forgetting your roots – just expanding them.

just to continue sunflowersaries rough translations..accordinng to jean,the anchorwoman, charice is happy to particpate in one of pres.Obama’s inauguration ball,she is now Obama fan. When you are a 16 year old teenage singing sensation from the philippines and get invited to sing at a inaugural ball then render the song “God Bless America” to a stunned guests and move them to tears, you are something special. Right now, Charice is unstoppable!!!!

Rough translation:

Part One:

In the reception at the Philippine Embassy, there is only one center of attention – the one called by Oprah as the most talented girl in the world and Philippine’s ace – Charice. Charice is in Washington DC for some performances. Until now, Charice still cannot believe she is part of the inaugural celebrations.

C: Earlier, I saw the concert. I saw Beyonce. I told myself I am so lucky because I was part of the least one of the inaugural balls. Last night, I was the finale so I feel I am special.

Earlier, she sang for her countrymen. Charice sang a nationalistic song of the Americans, God bless America, unlike her favorite pop songs. Charice said she was help by musician and producer David Foster so she can perfect the song.

I will do the rest later if one one translates it in the meantime. Off to work.
