Thanks God, inspite of the stupidity of some of the Philippines entertainment media(Bulletin Today and etc), the country can still produce artist and or sportsman who are truly of world class caliber. And the whole world knows who they are. Charice,Pacman,Arnel and Rudy Fernandez (RIP) Please don’t awaken the writer who made up those list. Let him sleep and continue being stupid.

Whoever wrote this item (from Bulletin Today)should have pointed the criteria for selection. The title “Showbiz Bang” connotes something to the reader. Evidently, it did not include boxing as a show business. And the BANG created out of this selection was just ‘WATUSI’ to the reader, except for 1 or 2 and you know who I am pointing at!!

The ’showbiz’ part is not a question for they all belong to the entertainment world. The ‘BANG’ portion is the question. When we say BANG, it creates ripples not only to the 7100 or so islands in the Philippines but to distant shores, as well. Now who do you think is included in this definition. Throw in boxing into the picture and we see PACMAN having 3 bangs in 2008. Of course CHARICE is BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG all the months of the year. And ARNEL,that out of the blue guy, should have been included.

Those 3 P’s (Pacquiao, Pempengco, Pineda, in alpha order) has put the other P, our Philippines in the entertainment world. Add to it Rudy Fernandez in deference to his many acclaimed films and contributions to the industry. All 4 persevered to earn acceptance.

Wake up………..

Joy Co, Arnel Pineda and Manny Pacquiao weren’t on the list bec this person or the people who did it is/are very bias.Imagine those 2 people who burnt their asses to reach where they are today and be exalted in another countries and just to be recognized didn’t even make it on the list is very absurd. They should be “On the List.” Even Charice is only on the 3rd place (as usual). I agree with you Joffer-they are retard and imbecile.They should know what they are talking about.

well, i have a reasonable idea why arnel pineda was not on the list.

Arnel pineda have not done any spectacular events in the phil. not until journey took him as their front man. He became famous not coming from the big entertaiment businees here in the phil. but his fame started in the foreign land. his fame was not counted in the phil, but his fame was endeed awesome, because of the name journey
attached to it.

for pacman, i don’t have no idea at all, for charice listed in the fourth, remember she is the new baby of the hitman, not in the phil.
but the credit of charice being the star that she is today comes from the false voice, and the korean entertainment, and obviously, when foreigners seen her potentials, they grab it and made it their own.

like we export raw material in the US, and it will come to us much more expensive goods.

Soon Charice will be singing songs created by his foreign handlers, and it will come back to the phil, the finished good a very expensive comodity because it is rated being on the top of the line.

But then again Philippines have a hard time selling their finished goods overseas because it is rated second class.

Just like arnel pineda, and Charice, if they have not gone to foreign countries to show case their talent, Philippine entertaiment business will not going to give them the honor they have enjoy this Christmas in many performing events they have done.

It was Falsevoice postings in YT along with Charice’s Star King guesting, NOT Little Big Star that was instrumental to her success. The world wouldn’t have known Charice if it weren’t for her Star King postings in Youtube, for THIS was the video where Ellen and Oprah discovered our little Charice in the first place. And the rest is history…

can you believe this guys??! gabby concepcion and kc concepcion just recieved multi platinum to their freaking albums. duh? I dont even knw gabby has an album. alot of good singers dont have atleast one album and how come this gabby concepcion, toni gonzaga, ai ai delas alas, allan k, pokwang, willie revillame and other stupid actors and comedians are allowed to have an album??! how stupid our music industry is. I feel sorry for the talent managers and music industry we have. tsk tsk!
