82nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® Kicks Off The Holiday Season With Giant Balloons, Floats, Marching Bands and The One-And-Only Santa Claus.
New York, NY- November 2008- The magic begins this Thanksgiving at the sound of Let’s Have a Parade™, stirring Oohs, Ahhs and Wows from the crowds and millions of families across the nation. Once again Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® kicks off the holidays with unparalleled pomp and pageantry. This annual whimsical procession goes down Broadway for the 82nd time on Thursday, November 27 at 9:00 AM and will once again cause a sensation delighting over 3.5 million live spectators and over 50 million viewers nationwide. America’s Parade and favorite holiday tradition steps off with over 10,000 participants including Macy’s volunteers, the nation’s best Marching bands, amazing performance groups, cheerleaders, clowns, giant character helium balloons, astonishing floats, and the one-and-only Santa Claus.

Celebrating the start of the holiday season will be performers from stage, screen, sports and music riding down Broadway atop one of the Parade’s moving stages. The stars joining the line-up include Trace Adkins, David Archuleta, Charice, The Cheetah Girls, Kristen Chenoweth, Clique Girlz, Miley Cyrus, Grandma and the Big Apple Circus, cast of the Broadway Musical Hair, Harajuku Girls, Kermit the Frog, Lang Lang and the cast and Muppets of Sesame Street, Miss U.S.A. 2008- Crystle Stewart, Idina Menzel, PushPlay, Darius Rucker, James Taylor, Uno the 2008 Westminster Dog Show Champion, Varsity Fanclub and Andy Williams.

CHA and David ArCHAleta ! What a combination on this Thanksgiving Parade. Another dream come true for CHA meeting one his crushes. David is kind of meek but he’s really a nice guy with a good voice to go along with his kind personality. A duet will be nice if that’s possible. I have relatives in New York who’s been inviting me to visit, and maybe I can go there to see them and watch the parade at the same time.
Miley Cyrus “aka” Hannah Montana will be there also to entertain the teenie boppers crowd.
Show them what a Filipina singer can do because this is one of the most watch parade besides the Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1 in Pasadena, California. Good Luck CHA !

David Archuleta + Charice …… is another highlight on the parade, at least in my opinion. They will look cute together, I hope they will have a duet sometime later.
I wonder if anyone knows whether David Archuleta’s dad is part pinoy. Is there truth in that? I wonder too how Miley Cyrus will react to Charice.

I’d like to see Charice my superpinay singer sing side by side with David Archuletta, my favorite AI singer of last season.Charice likes him already so it would not be difficult to create magic on stage. I wish them both the best. I’d like to see Charice shed off some of her tomboyish mannerism and transform to a young woman with David around. And I’d like to see David act macho and not sheepish around her. Aah I can’t wait for November 27. Smiles.Thanks Macys!
