UPDATE Wynn Hotel Concert.
In the 2nd (2-part-video) taken by falsevoice, you might hear two types of background, one is the actual audiences’ cheer and standing ovation, and a group of family (a private audience maybe near the dining room or kitchen a day or two after the concert) talking about the concert in Wynn Hotel. You will even hear a lady talking about something like she cried when she watched Charice in Oprah. Though, falsevoice confirmed that it was taken from a monitor outside the hall during the live concert.
Also, falsevoice’s video in youtube was taken via a monitor outside the hall, so, while falsevoice video tapes again the event via the monitor, it will be noticeable that they are in a private room, and you might have heard in the 2nd part that a kid was clapping in the background and said, ‘I saw it! I saw it!… I saw it!’ (maybe referring to previous performances of Charice and almost the same praise that David gaves Charice.)
And then, a guy laughed at the kid. On the other hand, the kid might be affirming what David was saying – David Foster exclaimed, ‘Charice,Charice… a star is born tonight!’ ‘Wow! thank you baby, Charice Charice!’, David added.
The kid that I mentioned sounds very proud because he might have seen Charice performed from other shows and he was trying to tell, maybe the old ones that he has heard David saying those praises for Charice before. Maybe you can try listening via earphone and you will be excited on the story the kid was trying to say.
Then the kid said, ‘I did! I did!’ Maybe because he was trying to answer David, as if the latter was talking to him or the guy who was laughing at him seems to be kidding around, insinuating to the kid that he does not believe him.
Then David said lastly, ‘I’ve seen a lot of staff in my life and I don’t know if I ever seen that before! It’s incredible.’
Charise had tears of joy meeting Mariah.
Later on, during the show, Charice gave another rendition, a different and wonderful version, that is, of the song ‘I am telling you, I am not going’ that the 2000+ audience thought deserves another standing ovation!
The Wynn Hotel rich and well known audiences clapped and hailed to Charice in Wynn Hotel after she sang Whitney Houston’s songs! Remember the ‘hail gesture’ Charice and Oprah gave Celine during the conversation via monitor – satellite patch
when Celine invited Charice to sing with her in her concert in Madison Square Garden in New York?
It just seemed confusing that people thought there were no standing ovations and only four or five people clapped their hands after Charice sang. This seems so because the 2 part video have poor audio quality in terms of the live audiences and it was cut abruptly as the first part.
For your information, falsevoice’s video was cut into two where the standing ovation for the first part was included instead in the 2nd part.
But you will see that there were people who were already standing below the right most and left most areas of the stage who hailed, cheered and clapped for Charice while she was being interviewed by David Foster.

believed that you considered this subject as baseless. but
what bothered me most is you never acknowlege that my comment is not expletive in any way. you are quick in deleting my post. i hope you also accept that you made an error too. i enjoyed reading your comments and i’m also a fan of you. you write very good. i frequently visited this site just to read your post and comments about charice.i put myself down by saying sorry and apologizing for a statement that is not expletive. just for you OzGirl. do you think we can be friends? hahah. i’m serious. just forget my second comment ok. it was out of character. we’re all fans of charice and when we read something that we believed is not true, we have to defend her.

Thank you for your kind words Shy, though I have to say I’m a bit lost as to which comment you’re referring to above. The only comments of yours that I recall moderating were the ones that I brought to your attention by private email specifically because they went straight into the spam queue and therefore those had not yet appeared in the comment sections on any discussion thread. Those comments contained unacceptable language (the “f” word in fact!) so they had been deleted intentionally. So, emphatically, NO, I did not make an error.
If any of your other comments disappeared momentarily from the discussion thread, it was probably because they were being reviewed and moderated.
Of course we can be friends. I don’t consider anyone here my enemy. If there are characters here that are unhappy with my style, that’s their issue and has nothing to do with me.
It shouldn’t bother you if I don’t moderate your comments. I only moderate the comments that fall outside the guidelines and the objectives of Charicemania. In the meantime, you might want to reconsider your above comment.

Ok I think we’ve beaten this completely baseless subject to death now and we have established many times over that there was nothing wrong with Charice’s voice, nor her performance at the Agassi Benefit concert. I highly recommend that you all move on now and find something better about this article/video to discuss.

guys, she didn’t PIYOK ok, she just change her style a little bit just like DF changed his tempo. of course they practiced their song. i listened to it so many times & there was no PIYOK or any problem that i noticed. i know music (some at least) cuz that was my profession before coming to the US.

definitely NOT PIYOK, if people would listen using their headset, you will clearly hear Charice’s voice not missing a bit or a line or whatever..
Infact I didn’t notice this “piyok” thing until I read dan’s comment #71 and I had to check it out. I think one of the people in the kitchen said “What!!?!” in high pitch tone of disbelief when Charice did the unexpected toss of her mic

Big audience or small audience she really gave her all,singing from her heart… watch simplebutrock acct. theres home vids of Charice singing only using karaoke and boy she sounds wonderful.
CHARICE is just amazing….no matter what is her look/style,she can sing.Period! We are talking about singing here.I always love people who can sing very well and can handle it singing infront a lot of people.Hearing hear makes me cry.I LOVE YOU CHARICE.

dan, hindi pumiyok si charice sa 2:55 portion sa sinasabi mo, subukan mo gumamit ng headset marinig mo ang boses ni cha ng klaro, ang sinasabi mo pumiyok dahil iyon sa ingay sa loob ng kuwarto na pinagrecordan na video nito at sa konti distortion ng sound sa loob ng kuwarto.

pumiyok nga ikaw charice sa 2:55 duon sa agassi concert sa vegas na kanta ni whitney. di bale…ganon talaga…baka sa pag hagis mo lang ng mic kaya ka pumiyok. pero hindi halatado…konting praktis pa siguro at wag nalang hagis ang mic.bilib ako sayo magaling ka at dala mo ang bandila nating pinoy. more power,sana magkaruon ka ng cd para meron kaming mabiling souvenir at maipakita namin ang suporta at pagmamahal sau.

Waah! I really cant get enough of charice. I’ve been watching her since little big star days. I knew she will be a big star and now here she is! to tell you guys honestly I am now an addict fan of this girl. I’ve been downloading her videos since her star king performance up to andre agassi hehehe so that I can watch her video anytime. I have her songs too! I can say charice is my daily therapy haha.
I never had my favorite filipino artist before till charice came, she is the only singer who gives me goosebumps! I wish there is a chance to meet her someday, hug her and to sing a duet with her hehe so that Ill be the one to cry wah…
