19TH OF JULY – REHERSALS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR "THE CINEMA TRIBUTE CONCERT" IN LAJATICO
After the great public acclaim and the huge success of "The Cinema Tribute Concert", Four One Music & Events, production company of the show, has decided to open the gates of Teatro del Silenzio of Lajatico the evening of the 19th of July for the rehersal of Maestro Andrea Bocelli, Academy Award Winner Nicola Piovani, the Orchestra Sinfonietta from Rome and the Picasa choir. The cost of the ticket is 40 Euros (seats not reserved). The doors will open at approximately 8:30 pm.
"The Cinema Tribute Concert", that sold out within a few days from the tickets’ release date, will take place the evening of the 20th of July at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico.

20 luglio 2008 – Un supercast per il Teatro del Silenzio di Lajatico, lo splendido anfiteatro naturale immerso nella campagna pisana voluto da Andrea Bocelli che, una sola volta all’anno, apre le sue porte per ospitare i grandi nomi della musica internazionale in uno spettacolo unico ed irripetibile. A rendere ancora più speciale la terza edizione del Teatro del Silenzio organizzato dalla Four One Music & Events, un parterre di star: il premio Oscar Nicola Piovani, che dirigerà l’Orchestra Sinfonietta di Roma, Noa e Roberto Bolle. Al centro del laghetto del Teatro del Silenzio, come ogni anno, un’opera d’arte che caratterizzerà la scenografia: dopo Igor Mitoray e Arnaldo Pomodoro è la volta del Cavallo di Mario Ceroli. Il concerto, in programma il 20 luglio prossimo, è patrocinato da Ministero dei Beni e le Attività culturali, Comune di Lajatico, Regione Toscana e Provincia di Pisa.

The concert will be held in the “Teatro del Silenzio” in Lajatico (Pisa) and will feature prestigious artists from both the international and Italian scenario. Performing along with Andrea Bocelli will be Academy awarded conductor Nicola Piovani, international recording artist Noa and the Teatro della Scala’s ètoile Roberto Bolle.

Honestly I haven’t been a fan of any local artists at home. I haven’t bought any single record that is produced in the Philippines because of its bad quality – yet I bought two of Charice’s when I was there. Till I heard Charice, her performance in Ellen, Paul o’Grady and the recent performances in Las Vegas and elsewhere. I told myself OMG she’s a real world class tallent! Now I’m a real Charice’s fan ‘cuz she’s really good and no other artists in the Philippines could compare. The people who’re bashing her are real CRABS and jealous…a typical filipino mentality. I could just say: Charice performing in Europe is a crowning glory for your profession! KEEP UP AND SHOW THE WORLD THAT PHILIPPINES HAS STILL A TALLENT LIKE YOU! You’re yet the best that happened in the Philippines! CONGRATS!!

It is ironic that it took a You Tube vids to recognized Charice’s talents. She’s been singing since 4 years olds and competing at singing talent shows at the age of seven. This is the evidence that Philippines will not recognized talents coming from ordinary
artist without the well known connections from the upper class. Critics bashing on Charice( Nelson Torre, “Can’t Bear the Birit”, Jillrayearth, “Why Charice does not amaze me” articles on various Philippine newspaper) shows that when an ordinary artists with tremendous talents finally made it in the International arena, critics started bashing on Charice pulling her downed the drain. You won’t see this happening if you are an artist coming from
a wealthy and well known family.
When Charice was a 3rd placer at ABS-CBN show “Little Big Star”, she wasn’t recognized
as a potential talent, and ABS-CBN ignored her until she started popping up on You Tube and finally recognized by other International shows ( guesting on Star King, Ellen Degeneres, Paul O’Grady, Oprah, and David Foster and Friends ). And now, Maestro Andrea Bocelli inviting her to this prestigious event in Italy. After this international recognition, Star Records a division of ABS-CBN Network made a debut album for Charice for financial gain and to ride on her popularity.
Good luck Charice on your trip to Italy. Give the Italian audiences your best performance and to silence the critics.
We’ll be anxiously waiting for a video on this spectacular event.

There is no question that Charice will be part of the concert this July 20, 2008 in Italy with Maestro Bocelli as evidenced by the articles of Italian newspapers. If in case, she will not be a part of the 7/19…i guess …because she is a surprise number. Another thing, this writer of this particular article is not familiar with Charice and thus just mentioned the “big names” in Italy……..(this is just for now)…wait till they see the performance of Charice. Let’s include her in our prayers..
