Just curious, does anybody know the management team of Charice?
Hopefully, they are reading articles/comments and listening to the people sentiments……the only way they will know if their handling of Charice career is effective is by “feedback.”

I don’t mind her going this way… slowly but surely. Charice is still young… what i feel for her is something coming up more stronger opportunity once she’ll be handled by the right person at the right time and the right moment.

Keep your faith Charice… what God have written… is written. No one can alter that except you Charice, so go for your goal.

It’s no surprise KC’s debut CD zoomed to the top of sales chart of Odyssey Records given her lineage (Cuneta+Concepcion), she’s a successful commercial model with numerous product endorsements in TV and print Ads, a management TEAM behind her, and a top record company SONY-BMG Pilipinas that gave her artistic freedom in recording her debut CD with a solid marketing campaign. KC and her debut CD effectively captured its target audience, the TEENS who are the major market for music not only in Phils but also in the US and most parts of the world.

Charice on the other hand started from scratch, did all the hard work, and finally a debut CD from Star Records albeit full of cover songs most of which were not catered for TEENS, Star Records not going all-out in marketing her CD, she has no management team or publicist apart from Star Records Artist Management. Considering all these, sales of her debut CD is all the more impressive – her debut CD is steadily climbing to the top! Star Records could’ve captured more of the younger set if they’ve only done an excellent music video for the carrier single “It Can Only Get Better” and they should also make a music video of “Born to Love you Forever.” These 2 songs are pop and upbeat, and should be more appealing to the younger set. Star Records should push for these songs constant airplay in local radio stations. I hardly hear these songs on the radio.

As I’ve posted before, what we can do is create a buzz for her debut CD, write your comments/reviews on ITunes, Amazon Mp3, blogs & forums, request her songs on local radio stations, and tell friends and family–kinda like pay-it-forward! This chart is only from 1 record store in Phils, if you tally all sales from all over, I’m confident it will eventually reach #1.

I have nothing against KC. and I don’t mind her getting popular than Charice in the Phil. it’s what the audience want and prefer. it’s up to the audience if it suits their appetite. if that’s what the Pinoys want, so be it. in fairness to KC, she can sing just fine. it might not be as good as Charice, but atleast she’s doing a share of her bargain. it’s not her fault if the management and agents want her superficial looks and mediocre singing. I’m ok with that since she got a lil bit of talent. unlike Paris Hilton who doesn’t even know how to act nor sing but got the chance to do hollywood becoz of her granddad’s family name.

Yep, it is really kind of “troubling” to think that KC Concepcion who is not really a singer(in the first place) is #1 in the Pinoy chart. (This is not to say i don’t like KC, I like her…but she is more of an actress/model. She can sing (no question) but not really that….( iam leaving this blank so not to offend her die-hard fans. I do agree the point of shymaganda on this matter. It is really kind of sad but most of our fellowmen back home prefer looks, name and connections than “real talent” (as in the case of Charice and Arnel who really have to strive that “hard” hard..and wait that long to be recognized. Imagine..Arnel waited for 25 yrs. I hope this “mentality” of Pinoys will change…..( a lot of room for improvement) This is synonymous with the politics at home…..i don’t want to start any further comment regarding Phils. politics….Peace to all and for Charice…keep soaring and be an inspiration to all.

I would never buy KC Concepcion cd even if its given to me. I saw her sing and it will take a miracle for her to match Charise performance, let alone top her. I think the CD sales ranking was fixed, and that’s typical Filipino habits. They always twist things around to favor others because of looks or influence. I still cant understand why KC is on the top spot while Charise is on the second spot of CD sales. Do you think the Filipinos are buying KC’s CD’s because of her looks, and her mom is famous, even she cant really sing? If thats the case, then these Filipino people are so stupid.

Charice’s album made significant progress… From no.4 spot back in June 15, climbing up to no. 2 spot. I think this is encouraging and positive news indeed. I’m confident her album will be no. 1 by August.

i still can’t comprehend why somebody who is not even a singer will take the top spot. are they marketing their looks or their singing talent? please let’s change this. if you think that somehow look will compensate for the lack of singing talent, i don’t think you’ll fool a lot of people, especially internationally. maybe in the PHILIPPINES it might work. i think the only 3 singers that can make it in the international music world are ARNEL, LEAH AND CHARICE.. the rest are only good locally. i admire DAVID FOSTER for lining up Charice with some of the worlds best singers. as we all know, in every concert the best always is reserved for last. to perform after M. BUBLE is really something. i don’t care how good a singer you are. but i don’t think anybody would want to perform right after Charice’s performance. even JOSH GROBAN said that it’s not a good thing to perform right after her. DAVID FOSTER said that he can’t think of anybody who can top that.
